Hi! Make sure to do it on Java edition and place the trapdoors on the bottom side of the block not the top!

The whole point of a Hidden doorway is to be hidden
Hi, thanks for commenting! The purpose of this short is to show the door mechansim, not a hidden opening method itself. You can hide the lever or use an observer. If you want a longer video on these builds showing the hidden opening mechanism I can come up with that! Let me know. 😊👍

I see there's z-clipping, however, it's only present on the side of the design. Since the skull sits higher than the caps it's visible at all times. I hope this helps! 😅
