I decided to create a video journey of not only my gastric sleeve journey but also the many years of struggle, weight loss, weight gain that has lead me to the decision to have the surgery.
I've not taken this decision lightly and I hope that my journey will help others and I hope that my best asset (my sense of humour) shines through even on the toughest days.
I won't hold back, I will probably swear and hopefully I'll bleep that sh*t out!

I don't think anyone just wakes up and thinks "Right - I think I'll have 70% of my stomach cut out". Of course they don't, that would be crazy! But a lifetime of highs and lows with my weight, a catalogue of injuries that may even get me in the Guinness Book Of Records as the clumsiest person ever to have a gastric sleeve have led me down this path. Oh Mick that was brilliant, yes I did laugh definitely out loud. Crikey you’ve gone through some crap too. This is my 3rd attempt of making this my journey, 1st time round in London I dropped out & tried s/w again lost 4st, brilliant then my lovely partner decided to do everything he could to put the weight back on, & I did😢 Ffwd 10 years & im back up north & at my heaviest, you go & see these drs & it’s like oh you’ve stubbed your toe…it’s cos your fat, they never say it & they’ll say I wasn’t going to say that, my response is yea but you want to. This is my 2nd time I can honestly say I’m ready 100% I’ve got the backing of my EP he’s overjoyed, my sa guy, my daughter now is 100% she wasn’t to start with until she saw me when I could hardly walk my bestie in Liverpool she’s not there yet & I know she worries about me & that’s ok. There’s so much I want to do & I can’t I’m 64 in the summer, I’m still young enough to go out & be the crazy fruitloop I used to be, so now I’m going catch up on another video. Jude 💖
What a lovely comment Jude.❤️❤️ I'm glad I made you laugh.....as there's a lot of these videos out there on weight loss surgery that just make me cringe with the false and fake way they're done. I've done them in a way that'll make you laugh, cry....and think. Good luck on your own very personal journey and give me a shout on Facebook. I'm 51, felt 81 when my weight was high, now feel 31 and often act like I'm 12🤣🤣 Thanks again for your comments.❤️👍
