Tap and Go! oneCard is a taxable account that is linked to the McGill ID card allowing students to easily purchase food on and off campus, without the hassle of carrying cash and debit/credit cards. Your oneCard account is accepted in over 20 on and off campus locations including All You Care to Eat dining halls. You can also use your oneCard to make purchases as the McGill bookstore.

Hello! I go to McGill, and yeah, you can apply for residence after you are admitted! Basically, you'll find on Minerva (which is a sort of website on which there will be all the info about you) a little page dedicated to residences and (I think from May to June) you'll be able to apply! If you are a first-year student under 22, you should have guaranteed housing by McGill, so you'll surely be placed in one of the residences.
