    Hi! Im very late to comment but if you do end up seeing this, please respond immediately! So basically I bought these eyelash extensions at target while going shopping with my sister. It’s by the brand name Kiss and I have love their products many times before. Anyways, today was the first day for school after winter break so I put them on. Obviously I have no experience in lash extensions, mainly falsies, and I noticed I misplaced some of the extensions farther down my waterline. I started feeling some pain and it got worse and worse throughout the day, I looked to the side at one point and my friend practically screamed when she saw the right side in the corner of my right eye. It was bloodshot red. And when I tell you it was horrifying, it was horrifying. She took a picture of it and I immediately removed my extensions in the school bathroom. It is still red, but my friend said it looked like it was getting better. Im home now and I still see some of the redness in the right corner of my right eye. I feel a little bit of pain now and then and my right eye has been watery. (I forgot to mention I went swimming at the end of the school day for about an hour and thirty minutes, so I’m even more worried the chlorine is going to affect the current state of my eye) if you have any idea on what I can do to help treat it, that would be wonderful. Also please let me know if it goes away on its own because medicine and eyedrops are currently not an option. Thank you!❤

      @divinelashes 17 วันที่ผ่านมา

      @@lena-o7u7i I'm sorry to hear that this happened to you. It's possible that you had either the extension in your eye causing irritation or you had a reaction to the adhesive. It was probably not the best idea to expose your eyes to chlorine in this state, but I appreciate the transparency. If your eyes are improving by removing the lashes, that's great news. I would suggest to keep an eye on it and it should resolve itself in a few days. Keep the area clean and try to avoid putting make up or mascara on the eyes during the recovery period. If it appears to be getting worse, I would strongly suggest checking it out with your doctor!

    I had a lash lift and tint, and woke up with puffy red eyes and what seems like glue in my eyes. I keep pulling put longs stings of it, it almost rubbery. What could have happened? Any tips to get it all out?

    • @divinelashes
      @divinelashes หลายเดือนก่อน

      I'm so sorry to hear you're experiencing this. It sounds like you may be having an allergic reaction. Lash lift products often contain chemicals like thioglycolic acid, or similar alternatives, which can sometimes cause irritation. I recommend gently cleaning the eye area, avoiding rubbing or touching your eyes, and keeping an eye on the symptoms. If the puffiness or discomfort continues or worsens, it would be a good idea to consult a medical professional for further advice.

    I see so many bad lash extension jobs in everyday life lately. Idk why ppl go around w them on like that, when the clearly look so messed up, and you can carefully remove them yourself. I had a set done years ago, and sadly paid $60 or $80 bucks but had to remove them right after I left the salon, bc they looked like these. Just wrong. I fell into the trap of looking into the mirror smiling and agreeing that I liked them, when I was just in shock and not happy w what was done. I know the ppl walking around w these know that something is not right w them, right? Or maybe they get used to them?? Idk.

    Using "gel" glue and shining a UV light into customers eyes to cure the lashes. Oh my. That's taking lot of risks.

    • @MariaMartinStudio
      @MariaMartinStudio 9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      If you research these systems, you'll see that the wavelength used is not harmful unless you look directly into it. There are also eyelid stickers that protect the skin and the eye itself from all light, including the treatment light. I'm not endorsed or anything, but I have been doing lashes for over 15 years, and there has always been risk when the elements are not used correctly.

    • @divinelashes
      @divinelashes 9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      The LED light should be used with the eyes completely closed. The eyelid is there to protect your eyes, so there is no harm to the clients. You can add a additional eyelid sticker for extra protection. The adhesive is composed of Ethyl cyanoacrylate, Sodium stearate, Photoinitiator.

    Interesting that ingredients of the gel glue is not mentioned. if it the similar ingredient used in "gel" than it has possibilities of allergic reactions. Many people are allergic to gel nail polish, for example. Allergy is very specific to people and can't claim that the product is allergy-free.

    • @MariaMartinStudio
      @MariaMartinStudio 9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I haven't heard anyone claim the system is completely allergy-free, only that it is LESS likely to have a reaction due to the quick curing/less vapor. I'm also a nail tech and reactions to gel products tend to be a result of them curing while in contact with the skin, which is never recommended for nail or lashes. You can also follow the link to the website and see the ingredients of the glue listed.

      Thank you for your question! There could be a couple reasons. For instance, if your eye is not completely closed, your eyes can get very dry. When the under-eye patch or tape is applied too closed to the eye, it can cause abrasions to the surface of your eye! If it continues to bother you I would suggest to see your eye doctor!

      It's hard to know without taking a look at your lashes myself. Have you asked your lash tech? As a general rule of thumb, if the redness and sensitivity persists after 24 hours, it could be some form of allergic reaction which would require your extensions to be removed.
