Yes, but not in the state of the servers and engine RN, we need a better client and server upgrade before that.

The burning blade is a great way to make gold. But I mean that it seems like these updates aren’t really making the world more exiting, they are kinda just “polluting” the seas and just making it more chaotic rather than actually improving what makes sea of thieves fun. Not saying that I dislike the burning blade I just mean that Rare could be focusing on improving what makes sea of thieves special rather than adding completely new stuff every other month. So what I’m saying is that these massive updates like the burning blade are hyped up and popular for a month and than everyone just kinda forgets about it and lets it be, it’s like this for every season in sea of thieves. Player counts are high for a couple of weeks and then in the middle of the season player counts drop.

ive had more then enough positive experience when meeting other players in high seas, i feel like after 9000 the negative things are just way more dominant to you as to other and to be fair if you just focus on the bad parts, all you will see are the bad parts. BUT i totally agree with the safer seas penalty change, sometimes i just want to set sail and enjoy myself grinding a faction without having to worry about getting hunted by reapers bc of my emmisary or just pvp hungry players HOWEVER its still a pirate game. thats about it. expecting people to not fight over loot is downright ignoring the fact that the game was made for it. my personal advice is stop playing games you dont enjoy instead of complaining about it, video games are made for enjoyment and when nobody enjoys a game and stops playing the studio is forced to change something.

I agree, the money loss from removing emissaries is already quite a penalty so absolutely neutering the gold gain beyond that makes safer seas just not worth it in any way. You shouldn't be punished for wanting to play purely PvE in a game that has so much PvE to offer, forcing PvP on EVERYONE does nothing for either group of players. For someone that wants PvP there's always ways to find it, for people that don't, sure at 30% gold gain and the majority of the features absolutely gutted. Just doesn't seem fair and it never has.

Unfortunately, I doubt they'd do that because the game is based around piracy. Half the title is about stealing from people.

@@CreaturesCanada I just want npc ships to steal from, and 80% of the game is not fighting players its doing voyages/tales. I just hate knowing my progress could get reset at anytime (especially while not on my ship) and Im not good enough to prevent it since most of the playerbase left are the sweats. The safer seas option being a tutorial area just feels like a spit to the face to the people asking for pve options

@@anotherperson2627 i totally see ur point, but still the game is about taking risks. you can hate it all you want but thats the game, to be fair tho i want safer seas to be improved myself because sometimes i just dont want to deal with sweats or other people in general. atleast removing the reputation cap, getting 60% or more instead of 30% and having more world event options would be great but until they change anything about that i will have to get better to keep up with our fellow pirates to defend my treasure just as is intended for a pirate game :)

Seems like the game just isn't for you. It's a pirate game, not a pirate-era merchant game.

i was using gold hoarder emissary, but the thing that's great about orbs is that you can sell to most emissary's (except hunters call and Athenas fortune) so you can get reputation and gold by selling these to any trading company (reapers, gold hoarder, merchant and order of souls)

You get them by completing skeleton camps, I’m gonna make a video where I show how to get them efficiently in a week or so.
