I noticed the same thing. I’ve seen them both live and they have that primal emotion and yelping in there voices and singing style. Chino was clearly influenced by her. Id live to see them sing together

I can’t imagine how difficult it is to play the guitar, move around, yell the lyrics AND SOMEHOW manage to hit the notes perfectly to sound exactly like the studio version!! Not to mention Chino has been the lead singer in this band the entirety of their 30+ year career so his vocal chords have gone through the works and he’s still super talented!
