Mine just started making that exact noise…..I thought throwing new u-joints everywhere would fix it…..nope……..but that makes sense to me …..thank you for this video….I will let you know if it fixes my 2008 4x4 cummins 6.7

What did you find wrong?

I Vgt goes from 15 to 85% And I only hear the turbo going 30 mph in at a certain rpm. On the highway, VGT was open to 85% and I was building 22 psi.

were you getting any vibration while driving

What year is the truck? I have a 2013 and the noise is identical to this. Kind hard to tell exactly where your at in video, transfer case mount?

Great video!! I just replaced an injector and when I pulled out the stand pipe, only the top came out. Put it all back together and now I’ve got a crank no start and am only building 320 PSI. Looks like I’ll be hitting the dummy plug and stand pipe. Should’ve done that anyways while I was there.

Thanks for the Vid. I like the detailed shots and also the idea of moving the AC compressor out of the way with out fully removing the lines. I’m replacing my engine loom and was trying to figure out how to access the wiring for the Crnkshft sensor. I just might replace the sensor while its all out of the way. Thanks again!

This job only calls for .7 hours to change crank sensor. Was you doing something else to it ro?

My guess would be stuck vanes from unison ring being rusted to turbo rebuild should fix issue new unison ring and turbo cleaning
