South Durras - Spirits on the Sand: A song for Elbie and Hoover
We lost our 13 year old dog Hoover in September 2023. We lost Elbie in January 2024 - he was almost 14. Our hearts are still broken. We would go with them to South Durras beach in New South Wales every year and they were always so happy there, so I like to pretend that that's where they are now ...

Fable our Kelpie puppy was afraid of my Ankarsrum stand mixer when he first saw it. The spinning bowl and the noise freaked him out and he tried to run away ... hide behind furniture etc. So I had to work to desensitise him ...

Fable at 4 months. He was originally quite terrified of noises / new surfaces and things that moved but he's pretty good at overcoming his original wariness so we were lucky that Eleni from @allroundgoodhounds9262 let us borrow a wobbleboard for practice :D

Puppies under the age of 14 months shouldn't do hard exercise including long walks, so this was just a short walk down our street to practise his loose leash walking. Part of the @allroundgoodhounds9262 syllabus :)
