    Unfortunately, there is not enough education regarding protocol at a "dark sky" area. 90% of cars coming in after dark drive in with full headlights on. Folks use regular flashlights rather than some sort of filter. Perhaps the DNR might find a way to educate the public regarding best practices regarding night time viewing in the dark sky area.

    Young Men's Christian Association hypocritically calls themselves inclusive despite the glaring conflict with a plain reading of the words behind their alphabet soup logo, and they're receiving tax money in violation of state law to run this brainwashing campaign thanks to right wing Christian extremists who managed to get voted into the state legislature. I don't affiliate myself with any political parties or religious institutions and I blame everyone involved for allowing the Y to steal our public tax dollars to promote their private agenda. Article I, section 4 of Michigan's constitution is clear and unambiguous.

  • @willdwyer6782
    @willdwyer6782 4 หลายเดือนก่อน

    I will fight tooth and nail to stop the YMCA involvment in civics education in this state or anywhere else in America. The Y is a tax exempt religious institution that is being unconstitutionally funded from Michigan's treasury. You are not entitled to grants from the government to indoctrinate a Christian worldview into the impressionable minds of our children. Civics should be taught in the public school classroom, not the Sunday school classroom. Keep your religion out of my government.

    Cash in general is a bad idea in Norway. While every institution is required to take cash payment, 99% of the population pay by card. Many places wont accept cash even if required to do so. We are more or less a cashless society.

    • @HrHaakon
      @HrHaakon 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      No, they're not actually required. There were talks about making a law that would require this, but accepting and handling cash is expensive, so the commercial operators are against it. This is one of those things that seems weird until you think about it.
