It's not that hard to be a heel in America when you're a foreigner. Usually heels lie, cheat and steal. If you're a foreign wrestler, that's all unnecessary. Just tell the truth with a smug smile on your face because you know everything you're saying is practically a shoot, and watch the fans go out of their minds. Darren was always great at that.

Then the Napoleonic War 1804-1815 If you see the name Wellington across London, he's massive figure during that period. Regal is so accurate. Just embrace it. Regardless, of how much you may dislike the gimmick you're given. Just embrace it, and it WILL get over. Prime Example: Undertaker... One of the GOAT's of wrestling history. Who really thought that was going to work when they first made the gimmick? Sure it would frighten the kids, but the adult fans? Fast forward 30 years and we have an absolute legend.

Well taking jobs from wrestlers certainly keeps them quite safe.

There was a match where Paul and Steven, at the time, were on opposing teams. They got such a great reaction from the crowd by simply wrestling and following the rules to a tee, and showing perfect sportsmanship. They were booed so much.

Man, since a kid, I've loved Regal. Lord Steven in WCW with the Blue Bloods and his WWE run. Superb on the mic. Amazing technical wrestler. Great head on his shoulders. I feel like he's been an underappreciated asset. Definitely would have loved to see him have one good world title reign.
