Jud Hartman became an educator because he used to be the kid in class that sat there, bored, and wondered, “There has to be a better way to do this?” Throughout his career, he has made it his mission to answer this question!
He is the Instructional Technology Specialist for a district where he coaches approximately 125 teachers as they implement technology into their classrooms. Before that, he taught 8th grade Science for 14 years, where he did Project Based Learning and Universal Design for Learning for the majority of that time. Most recently, Jud was named to the EdTech Magazine Top 30 K-12 Instructional Technology Influencers to Follow in 2023.

What website/app did you use to make the escape game? I work as a museum educator and would love to do a rotation station for summer camp. We focus on science and engineering activities!

What levels of students do you have? Any SPED/behaviors? How long are your class periods?
As the district's Instructional Technology Specialist, I mostly collaborate with teachers. The teacher featured in the video leads 7th-grade Math for 51-minute periods. I'm not certain about the specifics regarding SPED/Behaviors in her class, but you're welcome to reach out to her directly through the link provided in the description. Personally, as a former classroom teacher, I successfully implemented Station Rotation in various contexts, including shorter 45-minute classes. It's quite adaptable! Who doesn't love a good game of Battleship while learning longitude and latitude?
Are there certain tests or questions that are not capable of being cloned? For instance, I clicked the eyeball and the clone option is not available so I do not want to add it to my test. Is it just that some are not allowed to be cloned?
