Top 10 Classic Dystopian Books to Read 👁️ | Sci-fi Recommendations📖
มุมมอง 369ปีที่แล้ว
#booktubesff 📖I was planning to make a book haul video originally, but I have collected a whole lot of book from past couple of months, now I don’t know where to start. So at this moment I just feel like doing a short and chatty video. And the easiest topic I would love to talk about, is my favorite sub-genre - dystopian fictions. In this video I will only focus on my top 10 classic dystopian n...
📖 Where to Start Reading Neil Gaiman's Books? | A Beginner's Guide ✨Recommendations
มุมมอง 2.3Kปีที่แล้ว
📖I'm Neil Gaiman's fan girl. Love him. Love every single of his book I have read , I cried for every single one of them. His books got everything I want for a book, a bit darkness, a bit absurd, a bit science fiction, a bit urban fantasy ,a bit nostalgia, all blended the perfect amount that gets me every single time. If you haven’t read his book, I’m judging you :)))) but I’m a firm believer of...

✨Summer is official here! Check out these reads!✨ I have my besties here today and each of us recommended 4 books, books are great to read in summer season. We all agree that books recommendations are very subjective, so we are not taking this topic too literally, not just books that feel like summer, books give summer vibes, but also books with sceneries that taken in summer time, or books we ...
📖 Where to Start Reading Haruki Murakami? 🐈A Beginner's Guide✨Murakami Book Recommendations
มุมมอง 994ปีที่แล้ว
📖Haruki Murakami is a staple of Japanese literature, and my favorite author of all time. If I’m not bias, I think he’s one of those authors you have to read. However Murakami is a very prolific author with lots of genre-bending novels and short stories collections out there and certainly some books are more intimidating than others. In this video I’m going to recommend 5 of his books that I thi...

Bookshelf Tour 2023 Sci-fi, magic realism, Japanese lit, and more!🌿my entire TBR
TH-cam just suggested your channel to me tonight and I'm working my backwards through your videos. I have to say that for a newbie a year ago, your production and delivery is very good. We also have similar tastes in books. I hope you work allows you time to make more.
Fun video. You certainly have eclectic reading tastes. Is it time for an updated tour? What did you think of Blood Meridian? I think it could be called horror. It certainly horrified me. Lauren Beukes is an interesting author and I've read most of her novels. I'm interested in what you think of Afterland. I think it fits into dystopian category.
Excellent selection of books. I just finished Brave New World and will soon be reading Fahrenheit 451. Did you read the essays in Brave New World Revisited? Huxley talks about difference between the totalitarian governments in 1984 and Brave New World and the roads that can lead to each. Very appropriate for today.
I'm about to start Klara and the Sun and I'm encouraged by your words. I like your selection of books and I hope to see more videos by you.
Love this! My favorite book this year was A Heart that Works by Rob Delaney. I'll never forget it ❤
looked it up that book, like a heartbreaking piece..
Great video! You really cover some essential dystopian reads here. I have heard about We a couple of times lately and have never read it; it sounds interesting. I don't know the age of your daughter but two dystopian books for younger readers that I love are The Giver and Among the Hidden.
I'm new to Neil Gaiman's world, and this guide was exactly what I needed! Thanks for narrowing down the options. Can't wait to start🙏
Gaiman's books have always intrigued me, but I didn't know where to begin. This guide was super helpful! Excited to pick up one of his books and start this amazing journey
Excited for you! It will be a ride!
Pls
Hey, me and my friend were the two pink guys taking photos with everyone I was trying to get one with me and him in our group but my phone died. Did you happen to have any?

I've been thinking of reading Haruki Murakami since ages and didn't know where to start. This was just the video I was looking for
glad it helps~let me know which one you start with in the end☺️
@@lightbyiris please make more videos, you cut to the chase unlike most of booktube
Im just about to start "Neverwhere" and this video helped me get in the mood to read neil gaiman, the way you explain things is so soothing <3
welcome to booktube, iris! 🎉 i have the same thought process with using booktube & making videos to help my communication skills as a major introvert & i could only hope it works 😂 can't wait to watch more videos from you!
I'm sure it will! I try not to care about being perfect. As long as I make one video, publish it, it's an accomplishment for me :)
How High We Go in the Dark and 100 Years of Solitude are on my summer list! So excited to read them!
Oh well, this might just be my favorite so far
That's super helpful, will add some of these to my list!
Welcome 💜
Thank you ✌️
