Boheme Quartet is a group of clarinet players conformed by: Álex Díaz Broch, Sabrina del Riego, Jose Carlos Díaz Lorenzo and Nicolás Teixeiro Garrido. In this video they are playing La Fleur de Cayenne by Paquito d'Rivera. About this composition, the composer himself has said the following:
"It is the French name of the Hibiscus, or Marpacífico in Spanish, a beautiful Caribbean flower. The piece, conceived earlier as a duet for violin and piano, is mainly written in the form of a dynamic Venezuelan “Joropo”, the most
representative of Venezuelan rhythms."
