How can one transit from Chemical Engineering to Tech? What aspect of tech will be a good fit?
The first question would be what part of tech are you interested in. Regardless of your background anyone can start a career in tech. Starting from product management, Quality Assurance, software dev and so many others. Before you transition you need to first know which part of tech fascinates you first. Then you can start taking courses on that aspect. If you are more logical I will suggest Software dev, DevOps, cybersecurity But if you are looking towards management, product management, IT Governance is your best bet. In my case I got a job and I learnt on the job so I didn’t even have the luxury of choosing but over time I enjoyed every bit of it.
