Awesome. Mans a Team Bo Knife
What’s the difference between dynamic and instinctive?
First it's dynamic and deliberate. Dynamic is shoot and move. Deliberate is basically camping. Good question and thanks for the view
@@awarenesswithchristhat didn’t answer my question. Dynamic sounds a lot like instinctive archery. So what’s the difference?
Great stuff sir. Shared to Telegram the Archery Channel
Saloot, yow yu need a speedy Korean Bow, much faster than a Snake Bow.
Very cool
Awesome, the video I needed but didn't know I wanted. Keep up the good quality 👍
Make sure that your opponent doesn't get ahold of your staff.
I'm pretty sure you would have more range and accuracy than just about any pistol in a fire fight.
The force is strong in this one.
I would take the Bo-staff because I train with a wooden Bo-staff myself <3
11:58 still waiting on that video
That should work! Great shooting. Is that a PSE Snake/ Rolan Arc bow? You definitely proved the adage that it is the archer and not the bow.
Great vid! Like and sub! Please keep posting! I have a similar quiver and I am impressed that you can practice defensive moves w/ staff and knives and the arrow remained in the quiver the entire time. This to me demonstrated both strength and poise. Your feet position and some of your strikes reminded me of yoga warrior poses. I am starting to study and practice stick yoga, which is evolving into learning to efficiently swing my staff. As you explained, no fancy spin moves, but learning to quickly swing and use the momentum to set up for the next swing. I practice stick yoga, work on my stick swings and then practice archery. The common thread for me is breath, balance, form, and focus. You definitely demonstrated all 4. Would enjoy corresponding w/ you about “warrior yoga” practice.
Attacker should never see the knife, only feel it. Staff is the opposite.
This is a dumb question but what if you are hiking and a bear starts moving towards you? How could I use my walking stick to scare off a small to medium sized bear?
Not much you can do. I'd say don't run and don't be near cubs. Jabs are your best bet then long single staff strikes to its face. You'll probably piss it off more but not much you can do
I had the same idea so I got a spear head.
Cold steel do some nice samburu spears and a nice sheath knife that fits straight on that staff.
"Using your bo in a self defence situation" Ok.... (It's obvious you can use one though)
@@theflamingone8729 it just takes time like anything else worth trying
@@thecantedarcher6999 sorry, I didn't communicate clearly. I was commenting on the unlikelihood of using or having a bo in a self defence situation. And I agree, like all things, keep working at it with good instruction and critique. Perfect practice makes perfect play. Thanks for your reply, and for the video.
Wow bro, you are a warrior! 🥷🏻 😎👍. Love the wilderness where is that located?
Yeah I wish I had a nice spot like that.
Idaho
I quite like the various styles that fall under the umbrella of Historical European Martial Arts myself. Particularly Joachim Meyer's treatise on the use of this tool. Much of it translates over to spears (some of which do have the capacity to cut or slash) if not a glaive or halberd. These things you can fashion a makeshift version of by lashing or otherwise affixing your knife to one end of the stave.
Yo whats that harness you got? Edit: i meant quiver

@@awarenesswithchris thank you very much it looks secure very cool video I love your aura
Why not just swap out the word harness for the word quiver? Instead of writing a whole Nother sentence.?
I like the video. Thanks
imo dynamic wouldnt work too well for bow n arrow as youre gonna be fully exposed and have to reload the arrow naked.
Chai tea means tea tea too
That was sick
You could be a medieval sniper with those skills😂
Underrated content
Nicee
FINALY!!! someone who call the staff the right way!
Cool
The magic secret to everything is that there is no magic secret.
Plan the block as well as the strike.
Perfect scenery and at the perfect time of day.
Gotta add some more weight to that punching bag 👍
Shad is a great debater? And then you bring up that he just strawman's lmao. What a take. You're just easily swayed man. Dude is full of it
I agree. Sellsword is really annoying
@CT-1975 The most cope response ever😂 Shad is not good at debate. Nitpicking, strawmanning and whataboutisms are not debate.
@Based-Anarcho-Syndicalist-Chad neither of them are good debaters clearly. Sellsword is so annoying and he does the whole " guys don't attack him" thing that all creators who wanna look better do. The difference between someone who's genuine about that and sellsword is that he very much encouraged it and loves to make fun of people who disagree with him until he needs to look like the good guy. Sellsword also does the whole "don't talk about the art unless you do it" yet still tries to debate people on things he knows less about and claim he's right about it. One of the biggest examples is lightsaber combat in star wars. Sellsword is so incredibly wrong about everything he says about lightsaber combat that is laughable but I've never once gotten him to respond to one of my comments about it because if he can't make himself look better with the comment or make himself seem right about something then he won't respond
@@CT-1975 I never defended either of them. I don't watch these dudes. I just know Shad from his inane political takes and AI "art" cope.
This little (literally little) David is a narcistic wannabe with no hints of moral. He advertised an Energydrink that faced a lawsuit a few years ago for being unhealthy. After you pointed that out, he insulted. There was nothing more in his tiny head that he could do
How does sellsword arts have 1.26m subs but most of their videos only get 5k views?
Shorts give subscriptions, but people subscribing to shorts usually don't watch full videos. He has at least one short with several million views.

Very Impressive.
I wonder what a camera on an arrow would be like 😂
It seems like you need to go to a place for hunters to get heavy arrows. I always find these 300/400 grain one's.
Good showcase 👍
