Be careful the government don't hear you celebrating your faith.
I have been wondering for some time now, I wonder what the internet would be like. If Podcast’s hadn’t become such a thing.
Brilliant!
Eh i grew up watching uk tv and i remember loads who were black andy peters was on kids tv before she was old enough to watch june sarpong Naomi harris lenny Henry flowella Benjamin shows like the real mccoy desmonds what you are saying makes no sense to someone who knows the truth stop denying the true pioneers to make your self look like one your traying to put black people back 30 years for clicks shame on you

Jesus isnt real btw
This was difficult to listen to, with the 2nd voice in the background. Sorry about that.
Yes, it was that typical 'teal' carpet environment! There are captions available.
Loved listening to your journey!
Amen!
Elizabeth you are incredible and gifted please stay strong and spiritual
Great to see it hit UK shores. Our fellowship is birthed out of the Jesus People Movement.
there's also the couple Barnaby and Shula that radiates a very kind and warmhearted love
I confess that I didn't watch the entire interview but a question I would have asked Liz is, do YOU consider yourself to be, and do you tell others that you are a disciple of Christ? And if not why not? Not that this matters in terms of the quality of the film but it would be an even greater inspiration to know that the lives of the actors have been transformed by their experience making this film. I'm sure Dallas didn't screen them along these lines so it wouldn't surprise me to learn that for most of the actors this wasn't at all personal for them. In the future I expect to see them all cast in roles completely the opposite of the ones they played in this film.
@2:40.....hehe Liz, I see you there! You're definitely a Matthew/Mary kind of gal...and so am I!!!!!🤣🤣🤣 It's gonna happen, I just KNOW it!!!!
I mean, they've been hinting that out since the beginning of Season 2! haha
thank you
Nice interview! Love Liz!!!
There have been so many emotionally powerful moments throughout The Chosen. I absolutely Cherish the show. The finale, I think, was written to be extra emotionally charged.
We love Liz ❤️
There is Zebedee and his wife too . Kind of surprised Nicidemus and his wife were remembered before them. I like Rema and,Thomas too.
Beautiful women
Just one of the problems with what is being discussed here is that Christ didn't have the interaction with Mary that is presented on the show. Mary isn't that emphasized in Scripture, and this is just part of the "Liberal" agenda of the show's LDS owners, to present female characters, just as Darrall Eves states in His Book. By his own account, they purposefully sought to reach a "Female", "Evangelical" audience. And what the interviewers are praising, isn't historically accurate. It's in line with the "Woke" agenda being pushed on the world right now, but it's not Scripture. It should also be expressed, that the actors on the show, are predominately non-believers, including Liz, and what is routinely being praised by viewers, is the creative liberty the show is taking. Again and again, people associated with the show repeat that other "Christian" productions are boring and stale, though they attempt to stay true to the Scripture. It's horrifying, that so many viewers don't find that disturbing. That "Attesting" Christian viewers suggest they'd rather see a fictional depiction that moves them emotionally, than a Scripturally "Authentic" Christ. Of course, to produce an image of Christ is a violation of His Commandments.
Not a fair, well-thought out comment imo People do not seem to remember Dallas's disclaimer this is not a substitute for Scripture. This contains many plausible situations, I agree Background makes it interesting. The characters, including Jesus, are depicted as human beings who have differences of opinion at times. The LDS beliefs and creeds are not represented. At the end of the day, it is a Jesus movie that moving many believers and unbelievers alike. God is glorified. ☝🏼👑 This is my take on things.
@@margaretgrosskreuz8687 Respectfully, our opinion is worthless. It's God's Word that is important. Yes, Dallas has routinely made disclaimers that the show is not a substitute for Scripture, while at the same time suggesting it was Christ Himself, that declared to him, that his characters would be how people come to "Visualize" Him and His Apostles. Dallas then responded to this 'Election' by yoking himself to heretics, that declare a false gospel, false father, Son, and Spirit. That minimizes the Lord to simply a human until crucified, whereby He ascends to godhood, just as they believe they may. Moreover, sadly many don't seem to realize that the show is owned and distributed by these Mormons. That Dallas is a paid employee of the Chosen LLC, in perpetuity. He is the paid frontman, for the show. His assertion that he has sole authority is false! To suggest that the plethora of Mormoms associated with the show, simply set aside their church's doctrine, in order to appeal to an "Evangelical" audience, means they are not presenting 'Their' "Authentic Jesus". Likewise, for Dallas to insinuate the show presents the "Authentic Jesus", while at the same time admitting 95% of the show is fiction, is also blasphemy. The show's lead writer is a self-identifying Atheist. ALL the actors on the show are unbelievers, and/or, belong to non-Christian theologies. The actress above, at the same time the first episode was released, was also directing a series of independent horror films. God is not glorified, by unbelievers, heretics, and blasphemers presenting a 95% fictional depiction of Him and His friends! Even if the show was true to the Gospel, it would still be a violation of God's 2nd Commandment. It's not that difficult to move people looking for an all-inclusive, feel-good Messiah. They're literally over one billion humans attesting to false 'Christian-themed' gospels around the world. The "Authentic" Gospel, is repellant to the majority of people, including the majority of those who would define themselves as 'Christian'.
Liz you are an amazing actress. Love The Choosen
I love Mary Magdalene and Matthews interaction
The chosen has changed my life , the show is so good , best show ever
Just left the theater! 😢😂 LOVED IT SO MUCH! Mary is phenomenal in Season 1 All the actors and actresses are so natural! 💖💗💕They are very real!! THE CHOSEN IS VERY REAL AND HUMAN!! The BEST Production out there!! 👏🙌🏼👏🙌🏼👏🙌🏼👏🙌🏼👏🙌🏼👏🙌🏼👏
Catholics call Mary Magdalene the ‘Apostle to the Apostles’ - she is the first to see Jesus after his resurrection. Most people forget this honor
The Chosen is portraying real humanity well, I agree. It’s as if Protestantism is discovering Catholics have it right when we say Once saved Always saved isn’t real. Our faith must be renewed and recovered via confession, via ever deeper layers that require sacrifice and struggle to get to.
Only ONE Gospel: Gospel of Reconciliation. Jesus Christ came into THEIR kingdom to reconcile fallen angels unto Himself. We are the fallen angels kept in DNA chains of darkness. If you do not confess being a fallen angel in Lucifer's kingdom, then you are an unbeliever. Unbeliever = those that claim to be made in the image of God.
I was driving home after I saw the season finale in my local theater and I couldn’t stop crying !!!! I was crying already while watching- the lady next to me was crying too …. I heard people behind me crying …. It was an amazing feeling !!! I started by getting goosebumps, then shivers throughout my body and I just started crying and couldn’t stop till I arrived at home! ❤
I know right? Simon's faith being restored with Jesus calling him on the water? 😢
Great interview. Thanks
Glad you enjoyed it! We're grateful to have interviewed Liz.
Just saw it in the theater. So sorry if you missed it. WOW! Didn't see that scene coming. Amazing work. Can't believe what these first three seasons have accomplished. Congratulations to The Chosen team and God be praised.
I really love The Chosen! I am a traditional Catholic. I must admit that the first time I started watching it. I stopped and, for some reason, started watching it again. There is laughter and gut-wrenching crying for me in almost every episode. I do have to over-look some of the scenes and dialogue at times. Mary did NOT have other children. If she did, why would Jesus have placed her in John’s care from the cross. The Son of God would have had a sinless Mother. Jesus saved her before she was born. And He would not have “used” Mary’s uterus. Mary was His MOTHER. The 4th Commandment requires Jesus to honor her. I hope and pray that all this works towards the conversion of Dallas and all others who are not Catholic. We are ONE, Holy, Universal, and Apostolic family!
I also want to let you know that I very much appreciate all that The Chosen is!!! It makes Scripture come alive .
@@janewilmer9276 Come out of HER my people. Catholics worship Lucifer. Catholic comes from two Greek words: KATA HOLOS. KATA means down, completely. HOLOS means wholly. So, Catholic is down, completely and wholly from the Lord God. The Vatican is in the shape of a serpent wearing a crown, with a forked tongue sidewalk. The word Vatican means DIVINING SERPENT.
Jesus Put John in charge of Mary, Because his brothers were not believers
@@meazataye6654 very possible.

I saw season 3 finale. It was phenomenal aweson,
Tuning in from Perth, Western Australia. Really enjoying this interview. ❤

Liz is an amazing inspiring actress. She is multi-talented and is an aspiring film maker. I believe that she is also involved in a film festival in Texas ( I want to say that it is one that she started). Interesting that she brought up her thoughts on horror films. I believe that one of the awards at this festival is "The Dario Argento" award. I always love to see the cast interviews by different individuals.
The Chosen and Ms. Tabish’s work in it is a glorious addition to my work at walking with Jesus. Thank you all for what you’re doing for humanity in the name of Jesus.
The Chosen has been a breath of fresh air for fans of Christian content. Many of the Christian movies I've seen, though not all, have suffered from three problems: 1) Dialog written by writers who aren't really writers. 2) Spoken by actors who aren't really actors. 3) Directed by directors who aren't really directors. Hopefully, The Chosen will act as a template for future Christian content creators, and its success will bring more creative people into the fold.
Please put some ELECTRIC light on the movies. Everything is sssoooo dark!!!!!
I saw the first showing in the movies yesterday and I’m going again tomorrow because this was more than epic. This was absolutely incredibly amazing and I am not able to not see it more than once that’s for sure what this show showed was unbelievable the cinematography and the interaction of everybody was just incredible. I loved it so much. Thank you for what you do.
I knew you were gonna say Matthew. I think we all love Matthew. He seems the more gentle kind needing reassurance type of person and we women love that.m Yes, it seems that Parris business strawberry actor in this role. But I would say Liz’s too, and I would say every other one of those actors is incredibly amazing!
I have been watching the Chosen from Day 1, but I cant get my wife to watch any biblical films or shows - she hates them for some reason even though she would say she believes in God and is religious, and I cant get her to change her mind. I grew up on these type of films and shows as a child - "Ten Commandments", "the Robe", "Kings of Kings" as a child then "Jesus of Nazareth" and so many others as an adult.
I expect you can't wait for the finale, like us! Hopefully there will be something to capture her attention with the story on a screen. Otherwise it might be through a different media format. Blessings from the UK.
Hi there John, just wondering if your wife has ever articulated just what it is that puts her off. I have a friend who didn't want to watch but wouldn't say why. finally came out that she was judging Dallas's dad, Jerry Jenkins, for "making money" from the Left Behind book series, and saw The Chosen as Dallas's attempt to do a similar thing. We had a talk about it, and she still feels uncomfortable about it, but does see that, as far as The Chosen goes, Dallas works crazy hard for his income, and the content is wonderful and life changing, bringing so many people closer to Jesus, and bringing the Bible to life. It's wonderful, and I'm so excited to be seeing the finale today!! God bless you, John and I pray God will soften your dear wife's heart toward The Chosen, so you can enjoy it together. 😊
I am having the same issue with my daughter! I am binge watching with her husband, who is enjoying it. But she refuses to even be in the room when it is on!. What 1 don't understand is that with her upbringing (I was there 😉) she has no excuse not to embrace it.
Watching Paras as Matthew IS amazing. I have 3 different Asperger's individuals in my life and he is NAILING it!
It definitely is amazing watching Paras!
@@christiansinmedia4520 enjoyed this interview. Thank you!
