I know im late, The master telling them friends to kill each other off is to make a big deal with that if you become an assassin or ninja. You must be turned into an killing machine that is what they were meant to be. Trained and raised up to be expert assassins and warriors. To kill whom ever when told by the master. Its to cut off that human side of them. Its not just because of loyalty, its about following the mission no matter the cost of lives. Your to finish your mission to the end. Thats the whole part of being an assassin or ninja or killing machine. Your told what to do and you must do it without hesitation, its your duty and mission. Thats why the master trained them to pick out the best ones, cuz if they didnt experience losing a close friend or even family cuz note most of them were orphans and so growing up in this family of strangers and orphans they got close. They need to experience doesnt matter if its a friend or foe you enemy is whoever your master tells you. Thats the whole point in being (I know im repeating myself but ive watched this film about a dozen times) I recommend watching the movie not from an typical western view that over thinks things without actually looking on what a ninja and assassin is trained to do. They kill withoht remose or care.

I was actually making tweets regarding me being strongly inclined to think that the next Doctor would be female the day before the announcement. I was considering the last three years (such as Clara acting as the Doctor in Flatline and Missy) and I figured it was only a matter of time, so I can't say I'm surprised. I'm definitely all for a female Doctor and never felt that the Doctor always had to be a male. That being said though, I don't think it's quite the same as making a character like James Bond a female, which I've seen people bring up. Ian Fleming intended for the character to emphasize masculinity, and that making James Bond a female would defeat that intention and miss the point. I mean, that would probably be like making Mary Poppins a male, as it just wouldn't seem to work from a character standpoint. You might as well make an entirely new character at that point really. Hope this isn't taken the wrong way though. There have been awesome action characters other than James Bond, such as Sarah Connor from the Terminator series and Ripley from the Alien series. With the Doctor though, I feel that the Doctor and James Bond are two entirely different characters, and that the Doctor doesn't emphasize masculinity like James Bond does. I compare the Doctor more to Peter Pan, as Peter Pan doesn't emphasize masculinity either and has actually been played by females on stage, so I think it's fitting as both are just that flexible to change. Whatever the case, I hope it goes well for Jodie. :)

Overall this was great and cheap way to make a half hour tv show with very little effort . Most of the footage of ( especially the first 50 episodes) is like 70 percent stock footage from Japan.
