My conure learned to scream back at you if you scream at it! Same thing as crying. It also learned how to dance! But he only wants to dance with my mom and not me! 😢 he also learned how to copy the sound of the microwave beeps! ITS SO ANNOYING BUT SO CUTE AT THE SAME TIME!

Why do you clip Trello's wings so short and not let him fly? I have a GCC, Lucky, and his wings were clipped when we bought him but we let them grow back and he seems much more content now. Plus we're not constantly worried about stepping on him if he's wandering around the house. Not trying to be judgmental, it's clear that ur family loves Trello and he's treated well, just curious if uve ever considered letting him fly again.

I wish my green cheek spoke like that! but he is still a baby. he says "whatre you doing?" and we are working on more. when youre Trello was messing w your watch band.. you got some big kisses there!! I love thses guys, theyre really sensitive and understanding, theyre just too aware of phones and eyeball looking at them. sometimes when mine bites, i take it and handle it the best i know, he bites when he's stressed. So, Ive learned to match his bites w a soft voice, gently grabbing his beak and stroking it while assuring him that he is safe. Mine came from Petco - and lets say I dont thinking they should be selling live animals. apologies for the random novel of information you didnt ask for! LOL

I adopted a 10 year old green cheek. His previous owner said he knew some words and phrases, but weve only heard him say peekaboo. I called him a pretty baby and he repeated it back to me exactly once. Im determined to hear him say it again some day.

Though how about training them to go to certain places when they poo like to their cage or a newspaper pile?

With mine, we always do like a rhythmic Haka march to a beat that at first I used to do, but he's taken control of the beat now and if I mess up his groove, he'll violently fly over and cuddle bite my ears to death 😂😂😂 it's complicated.
