I feel your pain. Mine died just this morning. Its got a game stuck in there and, for some reason it won't run the Fan Test.

@whirly5000 Mine won't either. I think we have the dinasor old ass version. 80 gb with the 4 USB plugs? That's what mine is I think it's different

i had my ps3 slim up in a confined space with some dust for a while and i just recently moved it to a more open space. should i do the fan test to blow out the dust (if there is any) or is it not safe?

@shadow11781 What I mean is, if I hold my finger on it, it's still not enough time because I have half a second of it being green.

This doesn't work, it flashes yellow for like, half a second, then blinks red. Do I have something else, or am I doing something wrong? Also, I never hear that loud fan.

This didnt work for me. It just blinks, its starting to piss me off lol.
