Do you consider coming to work when you're sick as "strong and independent"? If I had cramps and pains I wouldn't want to come to work.

Stop yapping. A happy workforce is a productive workforce. If people cant work, then they cant work. If you have a job with amazing benefits, then you're motivated to work hard so you can keep it. It's pretty simple. And it's not like companies cant handle to give their employees paid off-time. The EU mandates, among other things, that employees are entitled to AT LEAST 4 weeks of paid vacation and AT LEAST 4 months of paid parental leave, per parent, on the adoption or birth of a child. So I really don't think paid menstrual leave for those with legitimate pain is gonna be the destroyer of companies lmao. They will probably do just fine, and if they don't, it's not because of some fucking menstrual leave omg.

I guess you could use your leave during the month as well or maybe use these days when going on a longer vacation. but from their point of view, when there's no such policy they get to suffer severe pains during all day and barely get any work done due to their periods. I used to have extremely painful periods when I was younger, to the point i passed out for some hours because of the pain. now they happen from time to time and are easier to cope with. but still it's extremely uncomfortable. since I'm still in uni it's OK if I miss a day, but soon I'm going to work and it's a problem for me. it would be nice if I could at least get a day off even unpaid just because anyway I cannot do any work. but in my country it's not an option. to get a leave I would need an official paper that I have some health restrictions. and I don't have those.

This is not even an option for a mass amount of the population. I have to work through pain that doctors don't even believe is real. Actual birthing pains monthly, while I work, when I drive, sometimes when I'm walking I have to crouch into a ball and try not to cry because it's pulsating every muscle from my thighs to my mid back. This would be amazing to have but this is not real for more than 99% of the population

One small jobsite constitutes the rest of the world?😂😂 your thinking really goes far. And women arent just facing difficulties in the workplace, there are plenty of other hurdles.
