Hell of a fight! The whole fight between Beterbiev and Bivol was held in a forceful manner. Both boxers were attentive to their opponent's punches, as they realized that missing one accentuated punch could lead to a knockout. Beterbiev after the first three rounds of the attempt to work on technique began to press, throwing out his powerful punches. However, he was unable to lock onto Bivol and knock him out as he had done with all of his previous opponents. Bivol was constantly shifting Biterbiev's aim, defending with his block and shifting from side to side, preventing him from landing a series of knockout punches. The center of the ring remained behind Biterbiev most of the time. In this fight we did not see the famous element of movement from the Soviet style of boxing - shuttle kick, performed by Dmitry Bivol. The use of the shuttle is suitable in amateur boxing, where 3 rounds, as well as in work with a boxer-player or slow-moving opponent. I understand what blows my sparring partner is going to deliver, so I have time to defend and counterattack. After a month of training on the methodology “400 Boxing Combinations” I managed to diversify my combinatorial punching technique.
