I just commented that you have the same accent as a Canadian friend of mine in London England. My cousins from Ontario dont have the same accent and She's from Alberta I believe, with you mentioning Calgary here I suspect you are both Albertans?
Yes I am an Albertan. But originally from Manitoba
Your trees and flora are really good, I mean so what if the tree came from Michael's, it looks like a whole different, and very realistic birch tree now! I have a Canadian friend who lives in London, I think she's from Alberta, I have cousins in Ontario and they dont have the same accent, but you and her have, I think Calgary ?
Ya a little paint and you can really improve there appearance.
Amazing, beautiful. Fair play on the painting job, what a lovely pastime <3
Thanks very much, I really appreciate it
I actually have tons of the stuff streamers are made of, crepe paper, I have rolls of the stuff and it never even occured to me!
I was so happy with the end results of this .
The interiors getting more and more elaborate is how it hooks you. I used to just be into making saddlery for miniature horses and now I have even smaller horses and buildings which have to have stuff in them. I started between 1:6 and 1:8 scale, realised it was way too big as I had already started thinking about buildings, went to 1:18th horses and buildings and am now between 1:35 and 1:48th and have a grandson who loves WarHammer so am taking a sideways trip into whatever scale is nearest to my 1:48 or 1:35. Its getting ridiculous, and yes, I have miniature horses in All these scales. I have even sussed out that I can make some harness using flat, waxed dental floss which can be painted to look like leather! I have no clue how my eyesight is holding up! I love this build too, I would have put the ordinary soldiers beds in the attic and used the bedroom on the second floor to be an officers bedroom, but love what you did anyway!
Thanks very much.
The lighting effects with the painting inside the forge lean-to are super effective, it gives a lovely warm glow and I need to remember this for inside houses that have fireplaces etc because it looks great! The foam shingles are great, love the texture and the mossy effect.
Thanks so much I really appreciate it. This was a really fun project
The forge, well, the whole thing is spectacular! I can't wait for the final part.
I am so glad you are enjoying the content
I have just been painting some bits for a medieval blacksmith and I saw part 2 of this so, I looked for this and, who knows, I may just take some ideas from you lol! (Plagiarism lol, I'm fessin up so it's not so bad 🫰lol). Its because you are going for interior and exterior as I wanted something for an 1:18th project I'm doing so will probably be scaling up and, perhaps changing the house a bit too. I subscribed and have already attempted to do my stone forge after your stone painting video, you have so much techniques that cross over into the diorama and even Dollhouse hobby as well as into the mini horse diorama hobby...I will push some of my community your way because we are all miniaturists!
I really appreciate that! Thanks so much
Love this!
Thanks very much
Totally agree with you that a dusting of snow where you still see the ground beneath it is a superior result :)
Thanks so much, really appreciate it
Great year of terrain! Merry Christmas Dexter.
Merry Christmas Brad, thank very much
Stellar inspiration!
Thanks very much Jeff
Those came out looking really good Dexter. I picked up a number of the trees and wasn’t all that impressed with them, and didn’t know if I was going to use them, until I saw your results.
Thanks very much, I am really happy how these turned out.
4 años de gran contenido! ¡Un gran maestro!
Thanks so much! I really appreciate that.
Really appreciate all of the inspiration and teaching you provided over the past year!
That is really awesome to hear! I am so glad I could help
Best wishes for you and your channel in 2025.
Thank you so much! I really appreciate that
Excellent!
Thanks so much, I was super happy with the end result of this project!
Yet another great video! Thanks again!
Thanks so much Jeff, I really appreciate it
That must really terrible 😞 I can’t even imagine how stressful that would be. I wish you all the best! Stay safe.
Not related to this video, but where do you get your indians minis? A video on them would be great
All the Native minis are from Blood & Plunder a game made by @firelockgames
22 thousand views and not enough likes!! excellent video sir
Thanks very much Peter
That filler looks like the beach sand near Destin FL. I should grab some and market it as 28mm snow flocking.
Absolutely! Free source like that! I wish
looks great work !
Thanks so much, I really appreciate it
they look great
Thanks very much Tom.
They looked great. This was timely for me, my wife and I will be making arctic scatter as our next project.
That sounds so awesome! Thanks very much for the support
Serioisly? I was looking up videos on this yesterday (though the weather in the greater Edmonton area may be what set me on the mindset).
Yep! I hear ya!
@@ThePlunderDenIt will also be good, as the two main games my daughter and I play are B&P and Fristgrave, so multi use snow terrain is a huge pluss.
That’s awesome!
Hi, could you tell me what miniatures you use? What brand are they?
All my minis are from @Firelockgames Blood&Plunder line of miniatures.
@@ThePlunderDen thanks!
You are most welcome
Took me a while to get to this video, but glad I watched it. My buddy is thinking about getting into B&P, and if he does I will be directing him to this video.
Thanks so much for stopping by. I am really glad to hear that this video will help.
Love your little maquette, makes me want to play the game..are those Atlantic Watgames figures?
Some are Wargames Atlantic but most are from Phalanx Consortium
This is very cool, man I love this setup.. UuuuSuthu! U bashaye!👌
Thanks so much
Superb work - and colors - on these ships, truly impressive!
Thanks so much, I really appreciate it
Great job ☺☺
Thanks very much
Lookin good!
Thanks very much Brad
hello my friend , I really apprecciate this beautiful video. Thanks for sharing
Thanks so much, I really appreciate it
Which paint is the Pavlov? Looks quite a bit like a terracotta shade.
It’s Pueblo from folk art and it definitely is a terracotta shade
@ Excellent, thanks! One more question … are you planning to make half submerged buildings as well, with some upper stories and parts of roofs sticking above the water?
@dartmart9263 I did do something like that in the first Port Royal table that I released on the channel. But I should do a more elaborate version of it for a future episode.
@ I guess I’m watching the episodes in reverse order. LOL
Ya it’s a little complicated as I completed two separate tables for Firelock Games. The first table has more water and collapsing buildings where the second one has a more of a city scape
All the detail is stunning, but the MAP on the table blew my mind! Who does that? No one. Just amazing. All of it really brings it to life
Thanks so much, I really appreciate it. I have been trying to push the envelope on detail every time out but not forgetting playability of the terrain as well.
Where did you find the drawings and schematics you mentioned? Would love to see!
It’s was on a sight called Historic Pictoric, really just Searched pics of Frontier Garrison house which lead me to these blue prints on that sight
Looks great and definetly inspirational
Thanks so much! I really appreciate that
Another good job. Your stuff always looks good
Thanks so much, I really appreciate that
Once again my friend AMAZING Build. I would Live in it! Wish I could, it looks warmer than my Mobile Home! Thank For What you do!
Thanks so much Tom, I really appreciate your support.
The level of detail you’re able to achieve in these builds is truly awesome! Absolutely love the colors on the roof as well. Great job as always!
Thanks so much, I really appreciate the support. I really like this style of Terrain, definitely takes longer but well worth it to get a much more engaging piece of terrain.
@ I definitely think the end result speaks for itself. Beautiful work!
Thanks so much
what inspiration!
Thanks so much, I really appreciate that
Nice to have you back
Thanks! Yep it’s nice to be back, been really busy with all sort of things! Been in high demand. lol 😂 but I been have a lot of fun along the way.
