The hinge on my Motorola Razrs have been very good, the only flip I have broken was the Samsung z flip 5, it broke on a drop to the ground with a durable case on it, but my Motorolas have been fine so far for me and my daily usage.

You got the best deal out the bunch that's awesome, I have been preaching to people about the crease being a non-issue, and like you said I use that front screen for basically everything, I'm glad you stopped through to hear me ramble on about this phone, this is by far my favorite phone that came out this year👍🏾👍🏾

@@WestbrookStatPadder from what I was told by a couple of coworkers at my job was the mics sounded very clear with my voice, he also said that he could hear some background but it wasn't enough to complain about and I work at a steel mill where there is constant noise.

@RJ_Uploads That's pretty cool. I wanted to get this phone at first until I saw the battery. That's why I went with the Motorola Edge plus 2023, and this phone is a complete beast. Battery and all.

I have one on my inner display right now and it works fine👍🏾 it's literally over the screen protector that comes on the phone, I have had no issues at all, I had one on my 2023 model as well with no issues👍🏾👍🏾

@@titusg4247 it's thinner than a tempered glass screen protector, but a bit thicker than a regular screen protector or something similar to a mag glass screen protector if that helps.

@@RJ_Uploads how do u make battery last ? What settings should be turned off

@BrendaSmith-l4i I usually keep NFC off, and Bluetooth off unless I'm using it as well as wifi because it's always scanning in the background and sips battery, I always keep my screen brightness on auto mode, but I do have my screen to time out after about 30 seconds if I'm not using it. Now I do keep my display refresh rate set to 165 because I do love how smooth the UI is with it set that way but lowering it can help the battery tremendously.

@@RJ_Uploads I use wifi in mine is there a way to not have it scan all the time

@BrendaSmith-l4i it's in developer options when you unlock it, there is a line that says wifi scan throttling I turn that on with all of my smartphones.

I bought my daughter a pink case like this and I like the rugged design with that raised lip on the front screen so I decided to buy myself the black one.

@@Rehfayi comfort is better on the Sony ults but they better especially for the cost but the tozos still are very comfortable.

Heck yeah, I got the poetic case on mine also right now, I added the magsafe ring to it and got a UAG magsafe ring stand for it and it's pretty sturdy. Keep me posted on the experience on Edge +, I'm probably gonna do an updated video soon on it also as well.

That's awesome, it's still my favorite slab phone for bang for your dollar to this day right with the thinkphone especially for what you getting.

Yep I actually purchased another for $339 like new from Amazon, and it's it pristine condition still had the OG box and charger in it.

Just a heads up the UAG Scout case doesn't work well with this screen protector, it has too much lip over the front screen, I just received the case today and sending it back today to try the Pathfinder version. Just fyi👍🏾👍🏾

@@joesipr I gotta check the ANC to see how it works I usually leave mine on transparency so I can listen for my kids, and I havent had any issues with low volume, but I will say check the volume on your game settings if you haven't already and see where that is set at.

@RJ_Uploads i have the xbox version in xbox , pc and phone is loud, the issue is in the ps5 :/ and the distorion is with anc on and high volumen

So they will at least support it to android 16 with updates and an extra year of security patches. With all that is going on unless the os updates are something dramatic because android 15 hasn't been a major upgrade at all.

@@travperk android 14 is still good I have been running it next to my android 15 pixel 9 pro and to be honest the edge plus runs smoother and holds battery life better.

@@travperk a lot of the time but while I'm at work I don't trust my pockets, and the back is made up of a frosted back glass, the curves are a quad curved display which makes it feel very good in the hand and that 165 hz display is where it's at, no phone is smoother other than my Asus rog 6pro which has the same display, I love this phone.

@@TimboASMR it's my primary now over my pixel 9 pro for the last week, it was my secondary line but now they have swapped, I love this darn flip phone.

@@BlackHawkPSU from my understanding 3 or 4 years of updates, the security updates have been consistent every month on the thinkphone also, it's a bummer that the curved display has stopped you from getting the plus, there are cases out there that I have bought that really eliminate the curved feeling and I personally love the phone as much as I didn't want to like the curved display but I do understand the gripes of the curved display but the quad curve feels different in hand to me.

@@BlackHawkPSU the g stylus is also a very good phone I think its a better option if someone wants a stylus pen as well.

@@RJ_Uploads Thanks for the reply and your videos! I was going to try and live with the curved screen to the point I ordered the Poetic Revolution Case with kickstand. It seemed to be a possible solution to make the curves less prominent however when I went to buy the phone (a second look at it) I just couldn't pull the trigger. I thought I'm not going to be happy with it and I'll have it for at least 3 years. Looking at the Edge Plus 2023 next to the G Stylus 2024 I would be willing to sacrifice the performance of the Edge Plus for the Stylus flat screen that's how much I didn't think I could live with the Edge Plus. I currently have a Moto Edge 2021 with a flat screen and I've been very happy with it. Unfortunately I dropped it on the road and a few cars ran over it :) The entire screen is splintered yet the phone still works perfectly fine! So now I'm down to the ThinkPhone or the Stylus 2024. I have no way of seeing the ThinkPhone in person however the specs are pretty good and it has a flat screen. A good blind purchase? Unfortunately the cases with a kickstand for the ThinkPhone look like junk. If I would go with the Stylus it's mainly because of the flat screen. It would be a cheap option to hold me over waiting for Motorola to hopefully make a new Edge model with good specs and a flat screen again. I'm not sure what to do LOL! Thanks for the help!

@BlackHawkPSU no problem there are a few cases out there that really do eliminate the curves from the screen and the side of the phone and don't make them as sharp, but the think phone you are not going wrong with at all, that phone is a beast, I have bought 2 of them and given to my teenagers because I know how rough they are with phones and how they have broken a few other phones that they have had, as well as the edge plus I have gotten as Christmas presents recently, my 2 daughters have the edge plus 23 and my son and wife have the thinkphone, I keep an edge plus 23, thinkphone, stylus 24, and Razr 24 in my rotation for Motorola brand right now, I want to get the Edge 50 Neo but I think they cut back the specs on it but it also has a nice flat display, and the new thinkphone '25 will be based off of it. Also I'm actually thinking about purchasing another edge plus '23 just because I saw it on Amazon in like new condition for $349, but I'm also watching an edge 50 neo on EBay. Also the stylus '24 still has a headphone jack, as well as expandable storage.
