The Spirit of God dwells not in buildings but in truth and spirit: "God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth" (John 4:24). We are called to pray in secret (Matthew 6:6), study the Word (2 Timothy 2:15), and seek treasures in heaven, not on earth (Matthew 6:20). Yet, churches often turn away the homeless and poor while embracing the wealthy, even allowing them control. Denominational divisions grow, prioritizing human traditions over Christ's love. Jesus warned of suffering and rejection for his followers: "If ye were of the world, the world would love his own: but because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you" (John 15:19). Yet, churches fail to protect the vulnerable and uphold Christ's teachings. They call for altar calls but neglect follow-up, missing the essence of true discipleship: "Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven" (Matthew 7:21). Let us remind each other that true Christianity means seeking God individually, approved by Him alone. Embrace Christ as the only way (John 14:6) and understand what it means to be a child of God: "But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name" (John 1:12).
