So from what I have seen Korean special sets don't have any code card, but main sets do. So from Scarlet and Violet I wouldn't expect code cards in Shiny Treasure ex (Paldean fates), 151, Night Wanderer (Shrouded Fable) or Terastal Festival ex (Prismatic Evolutions).

@raggedcards I opened 3 blisters and an ETB of prismatic and got nothing over a pokeball rare. 😭😭

@@SheriffRez Ah its rough opening 18 packs and not getting a master ball. I think over the next couple of weeks we will get an idea of how much of a hit Pokeballs are, I suspect many of them could be ok (particularly the Eeveelutions). Similar to a baby shiny in the fates packs, they might offer a reasonable resell return on opening them, so it enables buying more of the set to chase the big hits (of course the problem being actually being able to purchase it)

Thanks, really enjoyed sitting and opening a huge stack of cards all at once so will definitely be trying to do it again. Hopefully the crazy market doesn’t make it impossible though, I was fortunate to put my preorder of this set in early and get it for RRP. The prices and stock for the next Japanese set are insane at the minute though, worried I won’t be able to get much of it.

Wow its not something I’ve noticed before, but I will have to pay attention for it next time I hear a Swedish accent! Though Celtic culture has a lot of Scandinavian influence so its possible the two accents share a heritage.

Hey thanks for the kind words and the tips! Thumbnails and titles are something Im playing with on and off a bit, though Im not sure I have ever actually managed to make a good one and this video is definitely on the lower quality end in that regard. I didn’t actually know thumbnail makers were a thing, so definitely going to look into that!

also Obsidian flame set imo isn't bad but just doesn't have too many good looking cards but SA Ninetails and golden Charizard are looking pretty cool :P

Hopefully I can get enough on pre order to get some good pulls! Finally opened my Japanese Terastal featival yesterday and got a lot of good stuff, so hopefully will get that video edited and uploaded next week.

The blister came from the case that produced the crazy amount of hits on my last video too, so hopefully has some good cards in it.

Yeh it does. It really bothers me that the hyperspace captain Rex card looks better than the showcase 🤦‍♂️

@@RaggedCardsI would say Captain Rex is the worst one. I quite like the Nute Gunray showcase though, although they should all be more dynamic.

@@iainfenton4671 Dynamic is the right word. That's why I think Jango Fett probably got the best showcase of this set. Nutes is definitely one of the best in terms of capturing the character of the leader themselves, you can visualise him rubbing his hands and hear him talking when you see it

Yep, though hopefully prices might drop a bit for sealed product when Prismatic Evolutions comes out. Its very likely to be even more difficult and expensive at launch.

You mean the ex ones? I don't have any battle boxes, but from what I've seen they usually come with one. I think they are the same cards (double rare, non promo) in the battle decks, but they can also be pulled from booster packs

@@RaggedCards no i meant in general, i have seen pokemon cards with yellow borders as well as silver borders.

@@mrnotalent Ah gotcha, so this is a Pokemon generation thing. Up until the scarlet and violet generation, all standard English Pokemon cards had yellow borders. But they changed that when they launched the latest generation and they have silver borders now. I think it was a somewhat unpopular move, do you have a preference to one over the other?

Yeh I would agree. Not sure if it’s just nostalgia or not though. Always hard to be objective when you’re so used to something.

@@mrnotalent Hey, was just wondering you do need to pay someone money for the fake cards you collect? If so, how much do they cost, are they expensive?

@@RaggedCards no they are not that much, it ranges from 20 cents to 1$

@@mrnotalent Just for regular cards? The reason I ask I end up with a ton of regular commons/uncommons after openings that I usually just store away. Selling them usually isn't worth the shipping cost for the buyer, but I'd be happy to ship them at cost if it was worth it for someone. For reference that's likely to be around $8 for international shipping for a bundle of around 100 cards. So it works out about 8 cents a card, though it wouldn't have anything rare in it.

Yep and I think the Braviary is a pretty nice one too.
