500 Subscribers So I Wrote This Song.. 🎸
I passed 500 subscribers today off the back of my recent Paul McCartney/Beatles video and was inspired to write a song in celebration!

How Paul McCartney Wrote 'You Won't See Me' Using Only 2 Notes
มุมมอง 8K7 ชั่วโมงที่ผ่านมา
I recently watched a documentary on the making of Rubber Soul by The Beatles where Paul McCartney hinted at how he wrote 'You Won't See Me' using only 2 notes. I attempt to deconstruct how he may have written the song in this video!
I Wrote New Muse Riffs Over Stockholm Syndrome
มุมมอง 702ปีที่แล้ว
My favourite Muse albums are the guitar-heavy albums like Origin of Symmetry & Absolution so I tried to write riffs in that style by taking the isolated drum track from Stockholm Syndrome and creating my own guitar, bass & synth parts! \m/
Ducky Kong Country 🦆
มุมมอง 1K2 ปีที่แล้ว
Donkey Kong Country boss music (Gangplank Galleon) performed by a duck me on electric guitar. I was watching a clip of a duck playing the drums with its feet.. as you do.. and realised that it was tapping the eexact beat from Gang-plank Galleon (King K. Rool's Theme from Donkey Kong Country on the SNES) with its little duck feet, so of course I had to record this electric guitar cover version u...
Don't Worry 'Bout That Bass
มุมมอง 5612 ปีที่แล้ว
Whenever 'All About That Bass' by Meghan Trainor starts playing, all I hear is 'Don't Worry Be Happy' by Bobby McFerrin. It was driving me mad so I had to make this and get it out of my system. Don't ask me why..
How To Disappear Under The Bridge Completely (RHCP/Radiohead/Father Ted)
มุมมอง 83K2 ปีที่แล้ว
I noticed the opening chords to 'Under The Bridge' (Red Hot Chili Peppers/John Frusciante) & 'How To Disappear Completely' (Radiohead) are quite similar and this monstrosity was swiftly birthed.
I Added Backing Vocals To The New RHCP Song
มุมมอง 12K2 ปีที่แล้ว
I miss Frusciante's singing so I tried to write the kind of part he might have sang in the past.

Videotape With Idioteque Beat - Hidden Syncopation Revealed!
มุมมอง 29K3 ปีที่แล้ว
This was inspired by WARRENMUSIC's discovery that Radiohead's 'Videotape' may in fact be secretly syncopated. The idea is that the chordal rhythm heard throughout is actually being played on the upbeat instead of the downbeat, as it appears to most listeners. The reason we hear it this way is because there is nothing in the song to contextualise the downbeats as upbeats. This video adds context...
New Dream Theater Song Sounds Familiar.. (Mashup With Older Songs)
มุมมอง 14K3 ปีที่แล้ว
Made to highlight some similarities between The Alien and previous releases. This is not an attack on the band. It’s just a bit of fun. These guys were a huge inspiration in my formative years as a guitar player, and though my tastes have shifted away from their music, you’ve gotta respect any band still pumping out music 30 years into their career.
Stuck On Hold But I Have My Guitar..
มุมมอง 1K3 ปีที่แล้ว
Probably should have tuned the guitar first..
More Beatles please! Thanks! 🤪✌❤
Good video dude. Thanks.
Nice breakdown mate! Brilliantly demonstrated. Like Paul and John often said, “it’s simple once you know.”
nice video
An excellent overview. Shows how genius can come by just plunking around. Makes it even more magical.
Love your vibe bro, keep up the uploads 😄
Loved this! More please!
An interesting deconstruction but I'm a little sceptical. You know they called the album Rubber Soul because of the soul influences in the songs - like Wilson Picket in Drive My Car. I think for You Won't See Me you don't have to look much further than It's The Same Old Song by the Four Tops. It's more or less a take-off. Not heard Macca's comments on the two-note technique though.
McCartney is overrated I think..not that anybody cares what I think 😂
Well, you’re right about one thing!
l never noticed that, good work!
Every song is just two notes, maybe three.
Much Love. ❤
I had always heard he wrote it using only a paper clip and a shoe lace.
I think this might be your breakthrough video. Very nice.
Mmm. I'm getting a taste of creamy, slightly under-ripe camembert.
He’s simply the greatest songwriter we’ve ever seen, isn’t he.
thanks. I was haunted all day yesterday by that song I don't want to spoil the Party. This is another from that magical "middle? period for the Beatles (65 and 66). I love the way you explain the perfectly complex simplicity. I just subscribed. I'll be back..
If I was a subscriber, this would make me unsubscribe.
I’m just having fun throwing stuff at the wall and seeing what sticks, thanks for the feedback

521 and counting!
I liked it, it's like a conversation
Thanks mate! I’m old AF and always love the cleverness of this song, but never analyzed it as well as you did!
The B⁷eatles!
Very nice work :)
Thx for the insight! Very helpful…
More Beatles please
Incredible, brilliant
The mystical B7 chord lol :)). nice video
Nice one!
Excellent video, you gained another subscriber! It's always beautiful to understand how these geniuses thought about their own music. if you can, bring more Beatles, always a pleasure to watch!
My personal favourite song of the album. Glad you covered it :)
cant believe you only got 76 views! good vid!
Very interesting and informative thanks!
Thanks for watching Steve!
Still much better than the new single-
Two of my favourite bands together, I love it
Hearing Ful Stop
I mean this is a cool video and it was fun to hear all the similarities but to be honest this just proves how creative they are, where they can take similar passages or riffs and then make them sound distinct to the song .
I remember one of my friends picking me up and when I got into his car I asked him. “What you listening to?” He said RHCP then I go “huh, I thought it was The Cure.” I have to listen to the album again to remember which song it was good times 20 years or so ago
Outline the chords in the bass and play a pentatonic scale in the guitar seems like something that very very few bands can get away with.
get ts on spotify pls 🙏🙏🙏
20 yrs listening both bands...didnt pay attention to that
I know this is right, and I always try to hear the song that way when Radiohead plays it, but it’s nearly impossible. One of the only times I succeeded was watching a live version and counting off Colin’s body language.
That’s why I made this. I can’t hear it without a backbeat.
Hey Pent, I recently launched a masterclass on music business, specifically on how to virtually sell music online in creative ways. It focuses on how to build direct, recurring sales as well as getting your listeners to invest in you as an artist.. It’s free because I’m a youtuber and love to educate and help artists to go full time in the music industry, and there’s also an offer at the end to learn with me on a close basis and get the entire system plus some bonuses for a couple hundred bucks. I think you’ll love the value in the free class. Would you mind if I send it over?
Turns into THERE THERE … 🤟🤓
I'm not a fan of the original but this sounds cool
First minute is a headache but after that it starts to get better 😊
Goddamn it’s gonna take more than just the Shaft theme song to get him happy again after that
I mean you can just listen to the Bonnaroo version
C’mon guys not all The Cure means only Robert Smith and Carnage Visors it’s all about Simon Almighty Gallup
so impressive (i don't know what syncopation is)
somehow the syncopated beat is a lot groovier but the original beats work best for the song
