I see it in an artist I follow on instagram and honestly I never understood the point of it (although I like her a lot), but seeing you doing it and explaining it, it makes me want to try it. Undated for me! I used to write postcards to my late mother and I wouldn’t date them and she always put the date she received them ☺️ I love small journals and books too. A4 is something unthinkable to me. You kept saying a word… abonichi…? I know it’s misspelled, but I don’t know what it is 🤔 🩷💜🩷💜🩷💜🩷💜🩷💜🩷💜🩷💜🩷💜
I do that to the birthday cards from my teen! A4 freezes my brain tight lol 💜💜 Hobonichi - they are Japanese journal/diary/planner with famous Tomoe river paper (super thin but strong, mostly no bleed). the one I'm using here is a Hobonichi Original Avec. And that's where my account name comes from - Autumnichi lol

😂 yes, it's been around for a long time but it's not as popular as other journaling methods. Its' so freeing and fun though!

I love it! I recently bought this book second hand, and I thought I would give it to my niece but now I'm going to keep it for myself! Perfect for when I feel arty but have no idea what I want to do!

I have a black and white one somewhere on my shelves, I gave them to various friends and family in 2011 😂 Didn’t know there was a colour version!
I checked and it was published 2017, so I don't feel so bad not knowing lol But a B&W one that gets colour thrown at it would be totally transformed!
