I tried this and it was delicious. I didn’t cook my Penna pasta, I just added extra broth and let the pasta to cook in the skillet and let it cook down. One less pot to have to wash.

Recreated this recipe tonight and enjoyed it! I had a bit different of results from your video. 1. I used zero sugar Dr Pepper instead of regular. 2. I forgot to drain the grease from the 85/15 ground beef. This caused my sauce to be more liquidy than your crumbled finished beef. To combat this, I added a couple teaspoons of corn starch to thicken my sauce and cooked an additional 10 min (total of 25 min). Still tasty. :) I wonder if the lack of sugar in the Dr Pepper and not draining the grease caused my liquid to not evaporate like yours?
