A lot of people might say these toys are rubbish they’re not they’ve got character they’re old they’ve been played with by children so they’re bound to have scratches bushes scuffs. I think they’re wonderful. I’ve got loads like this from my childhood maybe 30 maybe 50 in the same condition, I will never give them away, sentimental value.☺️🇬🇧🇬🇧

Great job. I have one I need to do but I need the camera man and the glass for mine........Have you tried heating the glass a little with a hair dryer and then straightening the glass out? Then you just hold it where you want it until it cools.....

It's a bummer about the window unit, but the two tone paint job is outstanding. Came out nicer than Matchbox did it when it was new!!!

looks great in two-tone. and so many details... one could spend days on detailing that little thing out. :) the shape of this Studebaker kombi was so iconic, every toy maker had to recreate it. ...except SIKU. XD

Great restoration. It looks amazing. I dislike the tow hook, however I actually like that you kept it on for its originality. It’s a clean look. I have MBX VW Beetle from the same era in a fairly good condition in maroon/red color Don’t you usually drill the rivet post and tap and screw the base back with button head screws or m2 screws?

Nice work on the Vee Dub, Laz. That is the harder to find transitional model. The first to come out was white with regular wheels. Then the models changed to white with, narrow Superfast. Last was a candy red with wide, Superfast wheels.
