I saw the comment under the Ampeur post and thought it was humorous as well, but it does hold some truth, to be fair. Ampeur’s design was well thought out and looked really nice in product photos. However, it is literally his first collection, and we know nothing about it beyond the clothes themselves. Maybe if the lookbook photos showed more effort and his “info” page weren’t so vague, it would help justify the purchase as a customer. I mean, even as you said in the video, the pricing was higher than most, but it’s worth it since you’ve felt it in person-which 99% of others can’t do prior to purchasing. I didn’t blink an eye at your pricing because it was reasonable for what it was. Just my 2c I’m restarted
Tbh it feels like he's glazing his friend's brand because he got the jacket for free. Charging 550 usd on their first collection is crazy. My guess is that they're friends with kenijima, and saw vuja de charging those prices so that's how they justified charging the same price point.
