I was originally concerned about the title of this game but now that I actually look at it, it looks really fun!
Thank you for checking out the mod! The gamebanana version also has more stages in the Dev Menu and fixes some level design errors.

People said this OLDC lagged allot then most of the members literally told folks to get better PCs...Lol this OLDC doesn't play or look that good to begin with, why would anyone waste their time?
That's ridiculous. A fangame made in 1998 should not be lagging that hard. There have been several levels I played far bigger than the ones that lagged it has nothing to do with PCs.
OK, so I just played the new optimized version, and it looks like they optimized the levels that were almost unplayable

The animation in this game is great and the Team Sonic attack at the end was AWESOME!!!!!. I'll definitely get around to playing this but I realised the boost runs out very quickly, is that intentional ?.
I believe so. I think the creator is trying to have a more momentum based level design so that you won't need to use the boost all the time.
@@greenfiredx8632 I think that's great but wouldn't it be better to implement a roll and spin dash button for when Sonic is not boosting. Though it's not as powerful as the boost you wouldn't feel so underpowered.

The Frostfall stage wasn't half bad, Sonic going the Frostfall store to get a snowboard to shred dowm the slope was brilliant.

This OLDC is just a tiny bit better than the previous one, but only slightly. This OLDC still suffers from terribly short and blocky level design, confusing paths that loop into eachother, huge lag spikes, etc. etc. I don't think we're ever gonna reach the quality that the OLDCs used to have before they switched to a collab approach ever again. With the contest approach they had before, it gave people the motivation to at least try and have the best level(s) out there. Obviously there were still a few meh levels in the packs, but they'd get voted out. When you remove that main motivation, you now have just a bunch of beginners and mainly kids that just wanna get a level or something within the OLDC, leading to a huge drop in quality, which is a real shame ngl.

Nevermind, I looked at how sonic looks with the original model and it's way better there. I think this model just has different proportions that don't fit the animation very much.
Sonics arms need to be spread out a bit more but everything else looks amazing

Hello, how can I get the fake emeralds quickly?
Use Pandora's Box to give yourself infinite lives. Then get to a checkpoint with quick access to a hazard. Then, repeatedly die until the Fake Emerald shows up above the checkpoint. To easily meet the sacrifice requirements, give yourself 9999 Rings and 99 continues and destroy all the robots to meet the requirements for enemy defeats and/or the required score.
