There's a rodeo in town today and the cattle were calling for their breakfast. The birds are a nice counterpoint.

I finally got to see it! I saw the butterfly tumble out of the chrysalis from the corner of my eye and dashed over to record. It is filmed through glass, a window screen, and the thick plastic on one side of the habitat so it goes out of focus a lot, but the magic still happens.

This is a catch up video, 6, 7, 8, and 9 have gone out into the world. Photos, some of my horrible videography for video snips 🤣, and I don't have all of the butterflies but I have a chrysalis in lieu of. Also, I never "catch" the butterflies, I get them onto my fingers, and sometimes I cage them in my hand to get them out, but never do I touch their wings or bodies. Thanks for watching.

This Robin was happily using the water and mud in a plant catch basin to build her nest, we're having a bit of a drought. When I realized what she was doing I created some mud about 10' away from there but she had a plan and she stuck to it. Talented, but not a good resemblance of Luke in the face, though the curly hair helps. But his acting was very persuasive!!
Cute but a bit overfed
She's fed for an 8 lb cat, she had an illness as a baby and it threw off her metabolism. She has been at the same weight for 7 years, though. That's the best I can do.

Everyone in this story was so good. I miss TG / Luke .Been watching the 80s LnL and loving it I hope he is enjoying his full time life in Amsterdam. Hoping he will pop round for a visit to our screens. xx

It was a twist, but it filled in backstory that had been missing for so long.
