    It is the pride of men that kills the Spirit. So men reside in their fleshly lusts and own desires and tge Kingdom of God seems unreachable. If men humble themselves, pray and fast and give thanksgiving to God, the Holy Spirit gives us wisdom and understanding. We give thanks to God for those painful times of hardship and tribulation because God is teaching us to be faithful to Him to humble ourselves and He is pruning us of our flaws and making us perfect to bear good fruit. God transform and mould us but men complain to God. That why we are His sheep, all we do is ask for provision and pleasures but not realising that hardship and longsuffering are heavenly blessings to make us perfect. And before we know it, we are no longer in this world but in the Spirit, in the Kingdom of God. And this brings a joy that men never experienced because it comes directly from heaven. God bless You family at GPC! Miss you guys. JG ❤

    Personally I don’t believe in a god but I don’t believe that that the god from the bible would love and accept everyone with open arms because that’s the moral of the story

    • @lindboknifeandtool
      @lindboknifeandtool 10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Exactly. Tbey comport the message to how they want it to be. If the god that’s described in the Bible is real, that’s an evil entity. How can you come to any other conclusion? It’s exactly like a cult where you’re screaming like why can you connect the dots but they want to believe in cozy heaven so bad, and the bad people go to fire forever. It’s childish. And the worst part is that they just live this delusion until they don’t exist. No “oh shit that was all wrong” sucks.

    • @LootShrimp

      Read the Bible(KJV), it'll surprise you; God's love is not unconditional, that is false teaching. The whole unconditional love thing was pushed by people who didn't want people to leave the church because the truth scared them, and those priests had no business being up there in the first place. It's best to just read it for yourself, I'm almost at the end, and it's been a year since I started reading it. I don't go to church, because of my passed experience with them. Good luck my friend and God bless you.

      @@lindboknifeandtoolIf God was so unjust why did he send his only son so we could be with him in heaven. Without Jesus we would all be in hell. And I’ve heard be very careful of someone who paints a picture of hell. Sure it’s described as a fire, but it’s also described as separation from God or death of the body and soul. We don’t know if he’ll is even really a place. God is good and just if it is not good and just it is not the work of God but rather the devil. So if you want to actually point out something evil God has done I would love to open that dialogue.

    • @lindboknifeandtool
      @lindboknifeandtool 10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@LootShrimp your love for god must be unconditional, the book of job is hilarious. If you get around to it, read the aopcryphal books. Scholars include the however many books as the canon “Bible” but there’s many other texts from that time equally as credible. They’re just not seen as such because one dude said this dudes word is that if the lord. Well, I trust no dude. I don’t believe in a god, but I have a reserve belief that it’s possible. And that’s conditional on it being a personal relationship. Whenever anyone tries to get between me and my god is when I get weird about shit. Nobody ever talks about how revised and interpreted the Bible is. They read two passages from Leviticus and take it to heart in the current year, but others that aren’t so fun are ignored. The amount of shit regarding slavery, virginity, rape, and murder in the Bible is amazing. And like, I bet there was. I bet back then people were raping slaves taking their virginity and all that, with some donkey on the side so guidelines were required. And to actually care about them you manipulate them into thinking they’ll fucking burn forever in darkness for eternity 😂 Arguing about abortion but caring not about the crusades or even current wars. How can a Christian man with a cross tattoo kill another man? They’re busting doors down at night I’m family homes lol Anywho. I fell gaslit by these religious people but I remember there’s always tons of evidence that people around you don’t really think about things. The way they try to convert people because they want to save them I feel the exact same.

    the key to this is verses 12-13 which talk about the coming Messiah (Jesus) and the start of the kingdom of God (the church started on Pentecost) at that time (1st century) Jesus will reign as our High Priest and King over His kingdom (the church). this is not some future event to us but more verses about the coming of the new covenant and the kingdom of God aka Mt Zion aka the churches of Christ
