I don’t think he was taken when he died. Killed yes because he wasn’t innocent, but I think he redeemed himself in the end. His kid shot her smiling without a thought. Daniel didn’t shoot her or harm her. Le Bail kept dropping her in his lap and not a shot fired, she even got a head start. He wasn’t actively trying to kill her. He didn’t even fatally poison his family. His brother was the murdering kind. I picked up on that when he threatened his mother and she accepted it and knew he would do it.
