Man, I played this like a decade ago, only got as far as the Tower of London before I gave up, and that's where I noticed Watson doing this. I would stand in one corner of the map, move backwards with Watson still in my line of sight, then once I've reached the other side of the courtyard, I'd quickly swipe my mouse and make him disappear. He'd then be standing right next to me. Hilarious! Nice to see this bit of awkward programming getting the love it deserves!
