On the morning of September 20th, 2024, I spotted a rare "Fogbow" aka a Fog Rainbow over Harrisonburg, VA. This phenomenon happens when sunlight interacts with fog or mist, leading to a pale "bow" - similar to a rainbow.

not very common in virginia yes?
supercells/tranisent (short lived) rotating storms can be, but to try and produce a tornado like this one, or the August 7, 2023 supercells which you can also find on our channel, are far more uncommon. Very impressive setups

I did! I actually have some footage coming today of the July 25th event, I'm a little late posting it but got some great stuff from the 25th. Caught the Broadway LP supercell and it had a huge funnel

It's spinning the wrong way. If looking up, if that were a rotating updraft it would be turning the other direction.
tornadoes and updrafts arent limited by the Coriolis effect. they can spin clockwise, just more rare. 😀
