This is good advice. I kind of cringed when I saw the title, after I recently got ridiculed at a dinner party for eating a salad. Come to find out, nearly everyone there was a carnivore. I was so humiliated.
I understand! No need to feel humiliated for supporting your health. I don't know why it feels like there is such a lack of love around the food issue, and why eating salads are so provoking to some people. But we can stay loving in spite of it and hopefully that can be an inspiration to others. Keep up the salads! I'm in your corner! :)

My energy increases and my overall feeling of wellness sky rockets. As a bonus my husband will assure anyone who asks that not only is this true but he benefits even more than this when I’m raw! (wink) ❤ Yes God gave us clean animals to eat and we can eat them but if we want to eat only His garden food then not only is it OK but for people like us it’s healing ❤️🩹 and it works incredibly well for optimal health. NO ONE can deny adding more nutrient dense garden foods will add to your bodies health. This is awesome content & I’m grateful for you sharing it! As a Christian and raw vegan for 15 years, I am now for so long in total isolation and it is so painful. I am not craving cooked food anymore but I DO CRAVE ATTACHMENT LIKE I AM IN A GREAT FAMINE! It is so, so so hard to bear. No one can relate and share your thoughts, vibe, and lifestyle. It is challenging enough as a non-Christian or non-raw vegan to have meaningful relations, but now with both combined the pond is minuscule to fish in. I am by now so desperate and lonely! Let's stand dating or marrying another raw vegan Christian to share with. Yes the lifestyle and high vibe levels reached are amazing. But the isolation is deadening and I am on the edge of my width of desperation after almost 16 years now in isolation as a high vibe raw vegan Christian.
I am so sorry you are going through such sadness and loneliness. I can understand. I am so proud of you for persevering dear sister! Look through the Bible and you will see God’s servants often travel long lonely years in isolation from man yet growing ever closer to their creator and Savior. Jesus is the love of our hearts and the joy of our lives. Continue being a light and I pray that the joy of the Lord will fill your soul today! I’m here for you! I truly don’t know why more Christians don’t live this wonderful lifestyle! But we can still love them and be loved by them because of our common Lord. Blessings!! I am from Amsterdam, but I currently stay in the Philippines for the past 5 years in front of the stunning wild ocean side. I just bought an oceanfront villa with some land last year and am still in the middle of renovations making this place an oceanfront medieval 'Lord of the Rings-style castle in the wild tropics, with many carpenters. The first Christian raw food settlement castle here. Planning to start building those in Hawaii actually, but God chose for me to 'practice' and start architecting and building his raw food Kingdom Castles here right now. As a woman alone, I am doing and running it all by myself as I said above in the Philippines that is not easy. I also started an animal pension for the poor deserted animals here and there are many because the living conditions for animals are very sad. I hired 3 helpers to help me because lots of food preparation, cleaning, caring,, and help are needed for the animals, But I run it by myself. My heart is for them. But I am an artist practicing cello, violin and harp, originally trained a professional dancer in Amsterdam, which I do miss now staying here. What are you doing currently in beautiful Oregon? No, I have seen the preview tho. I am saddened by the death of animals, for sacrifice or meat. But I think the idea gets lost that sin was to be taken so seriously in that it took the death of an innocent animal to cover it. Biblical sacrifice was never meant to be an enjoyable thing, but a picture of what Jesus would fulfill when He came and sacrificed His sinless life for the forgiveness of our sins. I am so thankful to be on this side of the cross where I do not have to sacrifice animals to be right with God! Thank you for the comment!

I wouldn't be afraid of that volume. I'd be afraid of all the fructose!😳 Once when I had been eating low-carb and maintaining a 70-lb weight loss for 5 yrs, someone convinced me I needed to add fruit back into my diet. So I did. And within a month, I had gained 25 lbs and gained all my weight back within a year. Watch out for the fructose! It isn't broken down and utilized for energy like glucose is and the fiber doesn't prevent it's ultimate destination. It goes straight to the liver and is converted into body fat. And only then, if you are in a fasting state, so no insulin is present in your blood, is there the chance it will be converted back into keytones, something you CAN burn for energy.
I’m sorry you had that experience! I’ve studied pretty extensively and the key seems to be either eat lower fat and higher carbohydrate/fruit or the opposite but not the two together. I am not low fat but lower fat. It works very well for me with no blood sugar or weight issues. High sugar with high fat is very hard on your system. Thanks for sharing and wish you the best!
Fructose wouldn’t make you gain weight but fat would. You can eat fruit all day and even loose weight but fat is usually what goes easily into our fat stores. So no need to blame fruit for weight gain.

@vegan.enlightenment You have that entirely backwards, hon, and clearly are completely unaware of any of the science or history about it. I recommend you listen to some of the videos by the well-known Canadian nephrologist, Dr. Jason Fung, who wrote "The Obesity Code," and also Dr. Ludwig, whose specialty is focused on fructose and children. Fructose, btw, is actually the very substance that put weight on us throughout the eons of our species' development, during the short growing seasons, in preparation for harsh winters when food was scarce. And it did that even tho' none of the fruits then were even close to as carb-rich as our genetically modified fruits of today. Fructose, you see, is completely unlike glucose. Glucose can be broken down and absorbed by the cells thanks to insulin, and it is then burned as fuel by the mitochondria within the cell. And it's only when we eat an excess of it, or our cells can't absorb it due to insulin resistance, that it's converted into fat and stored, which is the other thing insulin promotes. Fructose, however, cannot be burned directly in the cells. Instead, it must go straight to the liver, is converted into fat and stored as fat, (leading first to a fatty liver). Then, if there is a need for more energy and there is no insulin present to prevent it, that stored fat (made from either fructose, excess glucose or excess protein) is converted into glucose for the brain through a process called gluconeogenesis and converted into keytones, which the mitochondria in the cells can also burn for fuel (energy). Fat, OTOH, can only be broken down and utilized as fatty acids (for the hundreds of ways the body needs and uses them) if there is bile available to break it down. And our bodies basically only make enough bile for the amount of fat our bodies actually need to utilize as fat. And so, any excess of fat that can't be broken down and absorbed because there isn't enough bile to break it down gets excreted in the feces instead. It can't be used to store fat on the body because it can't be absorbed if it can't be broken down. And the easy proof that we mostly excrete excess fat is that when our stools float, it means we've eaten too much fat. It is the excreted fat that makes the stools float. And you can easily check that by simply googling what it means when our stools float. But you would also find it enlightening to study the changes in the overall health in our country, and in other so-called civilized countries, over the last 50 years, ever since false science first led to the false belief that fat, especially saturated fat, was harmful. Over those years, more and more foods were made low-fat or non-fat, and there has been a huge shift in our society into limiting our fat intake, especially the saturated fats, in favor of carbohydrates. You can even see that recommended in the popular "food pyramid." And yet, what has been the result? A virtual epidemic of fatty liver disease, metabolic syndrome and diabetes, as well as all the diseases that follow from those, including heart disease and cancer. A new disease called "non-alcoholic fatty liver disease" even developed, because before that shift from fats to carbs (especially fructose), fatty liver disease resulted only from alcoholism and was unheard of in children. Progressively over the last 50 years, however, it has become more and more common until today, it is not unusual to even find fatty liver disease in newborns!! (Highly documented and of special interest to Dr. Ludwig.) And it's the same with type 2 diabetes and obesity, which before that change were rare and again unheard of in children, but today are virtually arising in numbers that can only be described as an epidemic. Just take a look at photos, especially from schools and colleges before the 70s, and you will find almost no one who is even overweight. And again, just like with obesity, type 2 diabetes was extremely rare and virtually non-existent in children, whereas it is extremely common now and growing exponentially even in the young. But you are right that we are designed to eat fruit and it's fructose, just not in the quantities we eat today. The fruits throughout our species' development were small, mostly sour and low in sugar, and available only for short periods. But we didn't need that much - a little went a long way - because most of our bodies were so efficient at storing enough fat from the fructose to get most of us through the cold periods of limited animal food sources, which was our primary diet. And ofc, those bodies which were most efficient at converting and storing fat from fructose were the most successful at surviving and breeding. But it is because glucose wasn't as easy to come by as it is today that our bodies also developed the ability to make our own from stored fat through that process called gluconeogenesis. And it's also why our bodies have no good way to handle large amounts of glucose and resulting insulin and why it is therefore so detrimental. And yes, it's also true that our bodies cannot handle large amounts of fat and glucose at the same time, because it didn't often have both present in a meal at the same time. Either they would be gorging on what fruit they could find and probably as they found it, or gorging on the fat and protein of an animal that had been killed. So the mitochondria did not develop the ability to burn both sources of energy at once. But with fructose, it doesn't matter, because it doesn't go to the mitochondria as itself anyway. It still just goes straight to the liver to be stored as fat for a future famine. But when both fat and glucose are present in equally excessive amounts, neither gets burned and are stored instead, and the mitochondria get royally messed up.

I think He used that yes. He is the healer and uses many ways to do it. He can do it without diet for sure, but that was the path I believe He led me in. Do you need healing I can pray for you about?
It is just nice to hear from a Christian that the Lord uses food to heal as well. Sometimes,I think, its assumed that childred of God can eat what they want, just pray over it, and it will be fine. Or pray after getting sick and He will heal. We still live in a natural world with a natural body and I think we also abide under the natural laws of life. Healthwise. Just be responsible if you know what I mean? But I also understand that He heals by miracles also. Like He will protect you if its completely out of your means and limits to eat/live healthy. Something like that! 😄

We are not exempt from the consequences of our actions as Christians, although the grace of God is also so present and working powerfully to protect us and full His good plan in spite of us at times! I think we need to do our best with the wisdom we are given and trust God with it all. And don’t blame Him when we have diseases after a lifetime of eating junk.😅💕

I don’t think a vegan diet is always the most healthy way to eat. Good quality meat and other animal protein foods are loaded with nutritional benefits! I think it may depend on the individual person, and maybe even blood type. Have you heard of the blood type diet developed by Dr. Peter D’Adamo?
For a good homeschooling project you can ask one of them to start their own free Chronometer account and enter in all the values. Then they can let you know if they are seeing an area needing more vitamins, minerals, carbs, etc. My kids really geek out over this, and it helps active participation in more ways.

I was wondering if theyd be asking for more per portion. I make 2 entire blendefulls of smoothies for 2 adults and 3 kids. You could try some tamari in your taco meat. I have found it a game changer. We also enjoy cashew cheese on top. With all that fat, I can hide things like microgreens or sprouts in thre tacos.

Love it! Sour dough has been a transition food for my kids as well. I am slowly phasing it out. It's the last thing to go.
