On board with Mr Lee and a GSXR1000K7 Thanks Shannon for letting me ride your bike, second run up the hill on a GSXR00K7 after a long weekend of riding multiple motorcycles and I managed a 2.28. As I was riding off to the start line Shannon says "Tyre warmers wern't on bro" I was like Eeeeeeeeeek ! Race shift, quick shifter wasn't working, Gizz another go Bro !! Choice one Suzuki GSXR1000 ICHI ...
Kawasaki KLZ 1000 Versys Cliffhanger Hillclimb 2024 (Gladstone)

On board with Mr Lee and a Kawasaki KLZ1000B Versys 2016 with a time of 2.30, I only had a couple of runs up the hill that weekend on the KLZ1000 and next year I'm sure I will go a lot faster. The super fast riders are between 2.15-2.20's most on race bikes which take a huge amount of skill and commitment.

Nice work CS!
Thank you SIR !
Where is this is it the UK?! AWESOME RIDING!!
Hi there, not in the UK. But in the North Island of New Zealand :)
Very nice...👍😲
@@burpet1 Thank you
Great ridding skills bro👏 👏👏 Any modification on suspension?
Hi there, thanks. Yes is has a Nitro rear shock and the front end has been tuned by KSS (Robert Taylor) I was also running track day slicks
♥️✊😎
Im seriously contemplating getting a ribelle , just a little converned how noisy it is and having a chain to mess with. No gears sounds a mixed blessing tbh, easy to ride better smoother faster acceleration but judging speed not so easy ... ?
It’s pretty set up, super easy to ride. If the battery was more charged it would of gone a lot faster 😅
That riding impresses me no end. Great how there are levels of skill in anything but top skill like this on a powerful motorcycle is right up there. I could never have the nads to corner that fast. Brilliant stuff.
Hi Steve, thanks for the kind words. I’ve never thought of my riding as skilful. Riding like this is my sweet spot in life.
Nice riding there! Obviously, tones of skills, I presume the bike is great too tho. You make cornering with that weight look so smooth and easy.. Great video, bro!
Thank you, the KLZ1000 is a very underrated machine. I’m hoping to make this one lighter with a set of headers and perhaps a tune to get some more power and have another crack !! Check out my Hillclimb video I did in March this year.
Wait how you suppose to downshift this thing?
Not sure SIR ?
Hmm, I think a lot of riders use the gears and engine noise to judge speed as well as using the downshifting to set up for corners.
nice job. i love my V1k....like a couch and can scrape pegs with my wife on the back.
@@pooch299 Very under rated machine
Gracias y larga vida !!!✌️✌️
Thank you, the KLz1000 is such a great all rounder. Sorry to hear about your loss :(
Hi , why do you sell it?
Hopefully next time the generator/ charging issue is solved and you guys will be unstoppable
Hi Craig, yes in the top 5 would be possible I feel
@@tipenelee test zero sir f please 🙏😀
200kmh on a country road with a borrowed bike is ballsy. I hope Sams cliffhanger left you well.
Hi there, yes all ok here thanks. Suggest the Eva Rs could have gone even faster if only we could have charged it in between runs.
Wow hypersmooth did not make it seem like you were going nearly as fast as you were lolol
Thank you, it wasn’t my bike and as the comments say the tyre warmers weren’t on. I hadn’t ridden a GSXR1000 in a long time 😮
It's certainly a hill isn't it? It just keeps going up in an oddly straight way.
Yes it’s the best motorcycle event in Australasia :)
nice ride 🔥🔥🔥
Thanks 🔥
insane bro where is this
Probably Gladstone
20minutes from Masterton in New Zealand.
very good driving and bike - love it. keep going
Thank you 👍
😂 And they say the Versys is "slow"😂
Another underrated machine :)
Perverted bike choice - love it
Thank you, it’s all I could afford lol 😅
Great bit of riding. Must be lovely to know nothings coming the other way😂
Thank you
braavoooo....bravooo.😊
Thank you SIR
Fantastic riding Mr Lee! You know that bike very well.
Thank you SIR !! I’ve seriously only ridden it a couple of times lol
@@tipenelee🤣🤣🤣🤣
I've always wondered about lane-filtering on those freeway onramps where there's a light that allows one car per green to advance. When you get up to the front and the light turns green, does the car at the head of the line also go? If not, then this is the only situation where lane-filtering is actually queue-jumping, huh... Hopefully, cars are also able to go on the green, maybe "one CAR per green" is taken literally rather than "one vehicle per green"
:-o
MADNESS!!!
are you the cold kiwi?
Buahahaha you nutter mr CRAZY!
