Because of the Brave laid a wreath at The Tomb of the Unknown Soldier on 12/16/22. Vietnam Veterans Dennis Mannion, Dennis Libby, Pete Scinto, and CEO Hayley Falk participated in the ceremony.

Hayley Falk recommends to the Cheshire Town Council that the new elementary school be named after Cheshire native and Medal of Honor Recipient Harvey C. "Barney" Barnum Jr.

On November 10, 2022 Hayley was a guest speaker at Wolcott's Veterans Vigil and Luminary Ceremony hosted by Patriots' Day in Connecticut.

Bowman joined the Marine Corps following his graduation from Cheshire High School in 1970 and served during the Vietnam Era from 1971-73.

Don Falk details graduating from Cheshire High School in 1965, followed by Boston College in 1969, being drafted in September 1969, and sent to Vietnam.
