Ah, so actually this isn't really about retirement, it's more about assuming a bleak dystopian future, for people who already have a lineage. So maybe the subset of people who either choose to have a more optimistic future outlook, folks who don't necessarily have a "lineage", or folks who trust that their lineage will be able to survive on their own skills/merits, would do fine with a moderate retirement portfolio.

So I’ve been thinking about what you said over the last 24 hours. I thought I recalled you say something along the lines of hard times coming in business and yeah I see it. Like why would an investor put their money at risk in the future, investing in businesses or lending when all they have to do is leave it in bitcoin. Very interesting thought. What that make the business landscape look like if no capital is going into it. At that point it might be the best time to be in a service industry, they will be the doctors and lawyers of of the past years money wise. Think about it, kids learn that all they have to do is work for 5-10 years living in their parents house, save every penny in Bitcoin and then just live off that for the rest of their lives leaving the work force and their parents house at 30. (Because housing prices drop also with Bitcoin! Becoming more for living then investing.) Blessings

Good video, last half is very interesting and really kind of a warning. Move on from regrets. 10 billion may not really give you anymore happiness then you currently have if your upper middle class. Seriously what could you buy, maybe a jet (buys time!) but out side of that, it’s really what are we doing with our time right now. So I know I need to work on that! Bitcoin has given some hope for future financial freedom on earth! We have today, we are not promised tomorrow here on earth. You can always backtest speculation for wild hypothetical returns. You made the best choice with the information you had at the time. The real lesson if diversify -- you could have had a little piece with big returns! (if only I followed that advice myself.....)

One of the hardest things to do is break free from that for most people. That part wasn't too difficult for me. For me I realized how many people close to me were actively working to instill doubt in myself. Once I realized that, I used all of the angry energy from that realization towards becoming quietly successful. What was difficult was not showing them my success while they deserved to have their noses rubbed in it. But that's a tarbaby. They'll just find a way to tie you down or kick your legs out from under you.

I had a bad first half and the second half was fantastic. I got a business visa and flew from the US to Georgia in November. (only way you were allowed to fly) I lived in what was basically a living museum full of remnants and monuments from the empires that conquered them almost entirely to myself. It's right where Asia and Europe meet, so there's trees and plants from all over the world there, making for an interesting environment. Excellent cheese, wine and tranquility after experiencing the US riots.
