Let’s start off by apologizing for my sniffling. I had bad allergies from my job earlier that day. In this video, I do a basic test to see if I had a fuel issue or spark issue. As the tittle says it’s a fuel. With it being a very common issue when left sitting with fuel in it, the gas gums up the jets and fuel passages. In this video, i built a small v12 power vehicle and tried to set a top speed run. Clutched gear were not strong enough to hold the power so i switched from a 3 speed to an old style 2 speed. i have hit a little over 500kmh but did not get a recording of it. In this video, I attached my compact 3 speed gear box to the newly built v8. I used a monster truck wheel as a load. I have the clutch set where it engages slowly to keep the engine from stalling. It still stalled but just clutch dumping works. Like and comment what other things i should build. 5 speed with reverse? v8/L6 in the truck? V16? How do you put the little pin?
@@GearGrindCanada you can find it in the connections area. Like where you get the axle, ball joints etc

@@sghsdhdkfh in game wings are just parts coded to “fly”. I mean yea there’s no parts called wings but I was just wondering if aerodynamics was a thing in the game

Driving in this game is pretty hard compared to beamng or something because the wheels are weirdly slidey
@@collinkaufman2316 you can mess with the grip settings. I found that too much grip and I’ll flip over very easily

@@kyleja7001 so that pin holds the build. Wether it’s a car or just the engine, it hold it in place to be able to test it or in this case it holds the engine so it doesn’t tumble around

i got mine to 683 kmh or about 425 mph with a V8 and the same speed with a V10, it has more in it but my diff kinda explodes.... (5 speed with clutch gears)
@@vacuumpowered6119 what terrain do you drive it through??? And I think I’ve figured out how to go faster without bugging out or my diff exploding
@@BrokeBoyBuilds-1214 i drive it at like the racing thingy, turned out my diff is alright but it was the Cv joint that went wrong, i locked the rear suspension and used straight axles, im reaching 468 Mph but i run out of terrain

@@BrokeBoyBuilds-1214 yes im using 2 sets of clutch gears per gear/shift and im using a 56 tooth gear on a 32 tooth diff now

@@vuvinh2032 sadly that’s what the game allows. Any faster and the gears and other stuff in game can’t handle the high rpms

Whenever I make high hp builds on suspension with a diff going to the wheels, my car wobbles it’s ass off the road when accelerating. Any ideas as to what causes it? This car looks smooth as hell at speed!
@@trapjudas1631 what kind of suspension are you working with? The one I have on this set up has all even parts meaning the wheels won’t turn when the suspension flexes. Also torque on the steering servo is set to max to help the wheels straight
@@BrokeBoyBuilds-1214 damn, definitely never thought about the torque on the steering motor like that, I’ll have to give it a shot and see how it goes. It seems to happen no matter what suspension geometry I go with be it live axle, cantilever, traditional double wishbone, etc. lol
@@trapjudas1631 try double wishbone front but have both upper and lower arms the same size. Same with the tie rod. If you wanna add caster, try to have the whole unit tied together. Live axle in the front isn’t great for high speed. I have a video where I had death wobble😂
@@trapjudas1631 for the rear, keep the live axle from having flex, depending on link angles, it can also cause loosing control at high speed also. I have independent rear suspension to keep the wheels straight

What angles to do set your crank positions for a v8 if you don’t mind me asking? I’ve made a couple and just set them at 0-90-180-270 lol but curious to see what other people use
@@trapjudas1631 so the one in this car has it set 0-180-0-180 resembling the ford voodoo engine but yes I also do 0-90-270-180 and the regular flat plane 0-180-180-0

@@BrokeBoyBuilds-1214no problem! I actually just finished up a 16 cylinder radial engine lol it’s basically 8 pistons in a circle making a pancake, then pancake’d with another one to make a monster that sounds like absolute hell but makes mountains of power lol
