Oh my gosh! I have that same fabric with the blue, green and orange flowers. I used mine up making a scrappy quilt. Love this idea with making a doll blanket.

Thank you for your tutorial on making this tote bag. I’ve made bag use double sided quilted fabric but this is a better way… using the interfacing and liner fabric. It look so much nicer. 💜🙏🏻

Seeong you tear up about your landlord also made me tear up. We have been in our apartment for 7 years and I gave birth to 5 of my 6 children here. We are ready for a move but not yet fortunate enough to make that move. How great you will be moved by May! I also think you will feel more creative in a new location with new sights and sounds. This project is so important. I took care of my Mom and she had a bag she wanted covered too . She bought me a sewing machine and told me to make her one. It was not the best because I had no idea how to use a sewing machine. I learned to thread the machine through TH-cam videos,. She passed away in 2018 but this year I want to break in her old sewing machine that I grew up with and learn to sew. I miss her dearly and im happy to try something new with her old sewing machine. I have been watching sewing channels so I can get a little knowledge. :) hugs to you and your husband. I just love a good Spring cleaning:)
