Ylang ylang essential oil smells like banana in a way... Not the most delicious banana, but I believe it brings smoothness and creaminess to the perfume.

im looking for something thats more like harbour, fishermans basket , teh smell of a harbour on sunset or a big harbour, vinegare like, fishy an dbriny, the smell a worker in a harbour woud smell all day, not ur typical sweer aquatic . Would you say that this is it ?

Some fragrances need to age, like wine. For example, sandalwood needs to age. A lot of citrus notes will fade with time and the base notes will get stronger.
