Depends on your age and fitness pal as you’ll be digging deeper holes with the manticore, and it will take a little More getting used to, but it is every one to there own I would not! swap the deus 2 for one put it that way!

@@jonsessions2121 not long at all you can change the tones on the deus 2 to square tones, sound pretty minelab 😉, check the video I have on searcher settings you should hear the tones and see your self then hehe

It shouldn’t pick up any iron but unfortunately any machine you have when your pushing its limit will pick up iron with a circle ⭕️ in it as it bounces the signal back and falses, you’ll also find iron with very sharp points give off a false tone every now and then normally very high tones.

For my back issues buddy it’s an amazing spade and iv had two the extendable one with foot pegs and this new straight shaft, I do prefer this shaft the only thing I’d like Paul at Megraphta to change is the blade on the end I get the idea of the scoop on the blade but it makes digging plugs a little harder you have to adjust to it, but the weight of a deus and megraphta it’s like carrying your jacket it’s ace !

@@TheStaffordshireSearcherYeah, sounds fantastic mate!... I've got a dodgy shoulder, so I strap mi' spade to my backpack on the opposite side... 🥴 I ended up (just) getting the Black Ada stainless. It's the lightest of the 'bigger' stainless spades, but still a fair bit heavier than yours... All good fun tho' - I've got the Deus 2, so I'm not too weighed down... 🙏 Take care mate, and good luck with getting your back sorted... B 💪
