He was "being better". And while Faye give him the ax, Thor had his hammer for a long time, he just never knew what he could do besides destruction

A destroyer for sure, he killed all the Giants and wiped them out simply for his own gain, that is a destroyer certainly no defender.

Ahm, he killed most of the giants that were in midgard and terrorized families ( you can see what he did to humans in god of war 2018 side quest) but mostly he did it when his father commanded it and he isn't really a bad dude, he's suffering from depression being hated by his own daughter and being belittled by his father constantly.

Thor is a killer, a monster, and everthing inbetween, he doesn't need to be pure evil to be a monster.

@@Lokesh12306H I know the lore and understand the story, it still doesn't change the fact that Thor is a murder, who murdered a whole species of people, and murder thousands simply because Odin told him too. Thor was a monster, sure he was not purely evil, he had some good in him which shows through his love for his daughter, but most of Thor was a killing machine and a monster that Odin uses to inflict fear and pain on the realms. Thor is by no means a defender, he is an attack dog who will kill anyone for no reason, hardly a defender.
