It would be awesome as hell to see Poseidon as some sort of boss unit.
If the frost giant freeze the titan little earlier. The people in side the bird case can servive. 🙂

I never released that animation. It's from the marketing alpha version of Age of Mythology. There was no interest for these units from the community

@moddingaom5622 the mod has certain dependency with the base file? Can try legacy or standalone mods

hey, i wanted to create a simple mod that just replace the portraits of the greeks with the desing that they have in the game hades, so you know where i can find the resources to do something like that ?

It sucks that we still can't have more civs outright, but instead have to replace existing ones :/ I wanna play as Slavs, Celts, Japanese, but I know they will never been released in a dlc due to similarities with the Norse and Chinese
Well, I mean, the Atlanteans are pretty much an offshoot from the Greeks, so I think Japan and the Celts being officially added in wouldn't be out of the question.

I could help you with the graphics for minor gods and much more.
Wish it was possible to do more, but with the current 3D model limitations we can't really add any new units for the minor gods. But the good news is, in the next video I will make big tutorial on how to add new minor gods and anyone will be able to add their own minor gods.

could you imagine a mod that adds new civilizations based on other franchises.... like,imagine the Na'vi ,or perhaps Lotr (where instead of gods you have the Valar and Miar)...or a Forgotten realms civilization with the D&D pantheon... the 3 major gods for the D&D pantheon could be Mystra,Bahamut and Asmodeus.....or an Elder scrolls pantheon (Akotash,Sithis and Magnus)
If you listen to unused dialog lines from him, you get that he is reciting parts of poems that match the situation. Like he has heard a oracle about the things that will transpire in the future. I hate that his voice does not sound mystical enough in retold. Kills his vibe for me.
Just as they got Arkantos' old voice actor, I wish they had brought back Gargarensis' as well. The new one just sounds like he's trying too hard.
The ‘Scorpion Man’ using a bow was hilarious
... it's kind of staggering to know this game had so much more dialogue that made the story flow a lot better and they decided to cut it.

No idea. Retold is harder to mod. :)
Hope the devs of AoMR knows about this mod, it's really good! It's all done, they just need to adjust some features and that's all. And it's really "xd" that fans made a better civilization than an official devs with the Chinese civilization
Wow very impressive! Do you think it would be possible to use some old mods from AOMEE and make them work with AOMR? I loved the AOM overhaul : Aom gods where you was able to play with all the gods with their own units and power. Cheers
