Yeah, they updated the game to stormblood being free (Up to the second expansion) rather recently, with no play time limit. So you're petty good for a while test driving.

Its so puzzling because i hit him up in late 2020 (about two months before the call videos on TH-cam got posted) on IG and we had a short, but really nice interaction. I told him how i used to watch his videos when i was like 10yrs old. His messages were coherent. He said thanks for the love, he complimented my profile (I posted anime edits at the time 💀) , and he asked what his videos got me in to. I messaged him what he got me into and the exchange ended there. I'll always have love for the guy in my heart cus he's a big reason why I stayed into anime and I really, really hope he gets the help he needs.

I wish there was a Achieve Historical Thread of Double4anime Videos and his Rants against Filthyfrank and Forneverworld.

He's really not a in a good place mentally afaik. If you saw his instagram posts, you know what I mean. Dude has completely lost the plot since 2020-2021. I genuinely feel bad for him.

Double4anime was always mentally unstable, and he lost his mind when he started uploading those random phone calls on his channel 2 years ago. Didn't like him when I saw him for the first time back in the early 2010s and I don't like him today either.

Also, I think that one video he left up was his way of saying "This was me when I was happiest, long before everything went wrong. This is how I want to be remembered."

I used to watch him back when he still talked and acted like a normal anime dweeb. Things first started to change once he became 'friends' with Forneverworld. His outward persona quickly changed. He began talking and acting like he was some kind of wannabe thug-life gangster. It was around this time that his channel was thriving the most. He was organized, well-spoken, cool-headed, ambitious, well kempt, handsome. He had everything going for him. Soon though, it became clear that some form of mental illness was starting to develop in his head. His content soon became more erratic, paranoid, and delusional. This was right around when he started making videos shirtless and began creating beef with FF. You could see him start getting visibly upset once people began questioning his sanity. It upset him because he knew. Deep down he knew that he was beginning to lose his own mind. It just got worse and worse from there. He stopped taking care of himself and his surroundings. He began covering the walls of his filthy condo (That his father bought for him) with sheets of paper covered with deranged indecipherable drawings and messages. He lost the ability to write coherent sentences. According to his Instagram, he spent his days and nights wandering the streets, playing with the same set of legos over and over. He would loiter in places like Dunkin' Donuts & Starbucks until they kicked him out due to his putrid odor. I think that his father eventually got him put into assisted living. His mom might have suffered from the same illness and passed it down to him. It's all very tragic.

i actually talked to him once on TH-cam messages back in the day. He lives a few minutes from where I live.

I remember I first learned of who double4anime back in like 2014 I think when I first got into anime TH-cam through forneverworld, jaymeshansen, savage_panda etc. I loved anime and just wanted to watch someone TH-cam videos talking about it. Instantly did not like double4 bc of his angry obsessive takes and attacks on others. Then I fell into the rabbit hole of his and fornevers old history and videos together and holy hell. I don’t feel fornever gets enough shit for essentially helping cyber bully a kid back then. Yeah double4 was always a combabtative weirdo but forneverworld helped in cyber bullying a young kid along with Uber hikari and a bunch of these other anime youtuber douchbags

I do remember he did make a update video about meditating and how he was going to go to thephy and quit making boruto and naruto content. Now I don't think he's well mentally however it is a good sign that he is off the Internet I hope he stays off and till he gets better so he can explain what's happened I used to watch and I've been in and out of this rabbit hole for years
