Probably an epidemic of haemolytic streptococcus infection. It often triggers an autoimmune reaction that first causes rheumatic fever and then spasmodic limb movements and other unpleasant consequences such as hyperactivity and frequently heart failure (mostly from red blood cells rupturing not exhaustion). Often referred to as St Vitus Dance but now called Sydenhams Chorea. I can imagine that if it reached pandemic proportions the afflicted might coordinate their movements in order to gain more limb control - hence the "dance" - especially as it often adds OCD into the mix. I used to live opposite a hostel that had a "dancing man" who caused havoc with the traffic outside my window every goddamn night.
That's a fascinating theory! It's incredible how medical conditions like Sydenham's Chorea could potentially explain some historical outbreaks. The idea of limb control and movement coordination leading to a 'dance' is really interesting. Thanks for sharing your insights!
A time traveller must have filled the local water supply with MDMA.
Haha, that’s one theory! This whole era was definitely filled with interesting and sometimes mysterious events.
Having happened in France, it must have been caused by lack of body hygiene, leading people to itch so bad that they started shaking their bodies in a frenzy.
"Actually, the 'dancing plague' or 'St. Vitus' dance' of medieval Europe remains a mystery. While hygiene theories exist, historians also suggest mass hysteria or ergot poisoning (a fungus with LSD-like effects) as possible causes. Either way, it was history's strangest dance party!"
Not just in France there are reported cases of the dancing plague in all over europe@@AncestorsArchives
Concept for video seemed interesting. Can't watch this ai crap tho. Turned it off 15 seconds in. Even stock footage that didn't completely match would be better.
I'm still learning, I appreciate the feedback. I'm working on making the video better. What kind of footage would you prefer?

I was super impressed with the imagery... Each to their own, I suppose!
Thanks
She was also ruling the harem during her brother's reign not his brother's wife. She didn’t just counsel her father, she also counseled her brother during his reign...
Yeah
I hated that, Selim became Sultan..😢
My favorite was Mustapha...😊
Mine too
Hürrem Sultan is the best of the world with her ness 😉

Murad IV = Thanos of the Ottoman Empire 💀
This not true, in real history he did no conspired to kill mustafa
In the Norse mythology it was the son of thamur who did the wall and he was killed by Thor right after speaking to Frigg
Number one, is The Fursan (the cavalry unit of the arab muslims). They defeated the Persian Empire in just 4 years and Romans where next 😊 The mubarizun (the high skilled arab muslim champs in 1vs1 combat), in the Battle of Yarmouk, they killed 26 Roman in 1vs1 combat. Dirar ibn Al Azwar killed 13 in his own 😊 (his nickname was the Barechester warrior). Before battles against Romans, Dirar ibn Al Azwar came always forward called out: im the death of the white faces, Im the the killer of Romans, im thescourge sent upon you, Im Dirar ibn Al Awar. Oh and dont forget the Janisaries, the special elite of the Ottoman Empire.
Tell me more and I'll make part 2 give me 10 groups of warriors

Wait, what?? Mahidevran - his concubine??? She was his MOTHER.
Yeah she was his mother
Suleyman never conquered Vienna. They have been repelled.
Mördare
he killed his best successor , he was strong , intelligent and just , he would have been a better sultan than selim , selim was weak , always drank and let nurbanu , his wife to control things , which leads to the falldown of the ottoman empire , in fact , as they said in the serie , he was 38 years old when he was executed and got many chances to take the throne if he wanted , but he never done it and he wouldnt have wait that long to do anything , how his execution was illustrated in the serie was so saddening
Seem you are just get the information of the ruling dynasty of former Ottoman Empire rooting from Magnificent century TV drama series and the original copy of script for this film rather than delivering the true conformation in historical records :))😂😂
How did loki get a mustard
How was Mehmet the prince of manisa wasn't Mustafa the prince of Manisa?
Best brother of mustafa❤
Shehzade mustafa as sultan and shehzade chihangir as his advisor would have been great combo rather than the drunkard selim.😢😢😢
Dumb salman 😢 lost diamonds
It wouldnt be that simple.if Mustafa becomes a sultan.Mahidevran will kill Hurrem's children.
Mahidevran was his mother thank u

First love? Wrong information!
Remarkable, unforgetable, smart and Generous Queen..she's very beautiful
Rustem Pasha? Isn't he too old?
Actually, marrying at the age of 11-16 (and giving birth) is still fine for Islamic countries. They only think period is what matters, not a woman's mental health
More like sokulu's reign lol.
Damn Hooram
Both mother and daughter ruined ottomans.
How?
Hooram ruined Suleman
All because of the zionist
hurrem make here life bad 😢
A lot of facts in this video are not mentioned. This was not a good video not informative at all.
Hurrem is the daughter of high respects parents. Was kidnapped n sold as slave. (According to film)
Only one of her children became a Sultan
Oh my lovely sultana with poor destiny
