One of the most beautiful villages in the world! Visit Gyeongju City, Korea! Yangdong Village.
The village was founded by Son So (1433-1484).
Son So and his wife, the daughter of Yu Bok Ha had a daughter who married Yi Beon of the Yeogang Yi family. Fifty-four historic homes over 200 years old have also been preserved. The village preserves folk customs and traditional buildings of Joseon dynasty architecture.
Approximately 160 old houses are existed. 500-year-old thatched-roof cottages are nestled within vallies.
Fifty-four of these houses are over 200 years old and have been preserved in their original state and good condition.
There are many variety of unique traditional Korean houses.

Treasure Island was written by Stevenson after returning from his first trip to America where he was married. Still a relatively unknown author, inspiration came in summer of 1881 in Braemar, Scotland when bad weather kept the family inside. To amuse his 12-year old stepson, Lloyd Osbourne, he used the idea of a secret map as the basis of a story about hidden treasure.
"The Firth of Forth " . That is the estuary of the river Forth.

The first to be built was the railway bridge, in Victorian era. It was just called the Forth Bridge. Then in early 1960s they built the first road bridge. It was called the Forth Road Bridge. Finally the new road bridge was built (in 2014?). It is called the Queensferry Crossing.

Hello, is it possible to go up by bus or only hiking??
Hi. I think you had better hike to the top of the mountain. It might have another hiking trails to go up to the top. It takes around 1 hour 50 minutes with my short legs. It is not high mountain though. I recommend Beomeosa temple if you just want to walk. Beomeosa temple is located at foot of Geumjeongsan mountain. Beomeeosa temple is worthy itself.
