En fait, assez britannique (pas seulement anglais) et aussi d'autres pays anglophones (américains, canadiens, australiens, irlandais, également néerlandais et autres du monde entier). Mais oui, il y a beaucoup d'anglais ici. Nous avons une longue histoire avec la région. Il y a une bonne raison pour laquelle tant de gens sont attirés par la région : elle est très belle, et nous devons nous rappeler que ces « nouveaux locales » ne sont peut-être qu'une des raisons pour lesquelles Eymet est un endroit animé pendant une grande partie de l'année. Je m'excuse pour mon mauvais français. J'apprends. (Aussi... J'habite à 5km de l'autre côté de la frontière, dans le 47, Lot et Garonne.)

This is the BEST tour of this extraordinary village that I have yet seen! Thank you! I'm sorry that I have only just come across it - I owned a house up in the top of the village, so I have watched loads. But your technique of drifting stills works best - along with your ability to pick up on details. . .and a perfect soundtrack!. You really have cracked something. Most videos on YT are handheld smartphones, dizzying in their bad photography. Your concept is brilliant! I see that you are from the US - I'm a Brit, lived here in France for the last 20 years . . . I hope you get back to the Périgord again soon! Best to you, Michael x
Thank you for your very kind comments. I am very glad you like it, particularly as you are a resident. It is my favourite of all the villages we visited, stunning as they all are in their own way. Like you I am not a fan of the amateur walk-around videos, especially when the makers insist on starring themselves as commentators - it must be a generational thing! I am actually a Brit too although I have lived here for a good while now. I doubt that we will get back to that beautiful area again, for various reasons, but if we do we will stop by and say hello.

A very beautiful place and a lovely video (I like the music too). My original thought was this was too large and too urban a place to be a village (I admit I am used to English villages, which are not usually fortified!). Wikipedia says it's part of the "Most Beautiful Villages" in France group, which appears to be a marketing association. It's really a "bastide," or fortified town.

프랑스의 시골 마을들은 품위있고 멋스러운 아름다움이 넘치는 곳들 인데.. '걸어서 세계속으로' 에서 한번 본 도르도뉴 지방 특히 아름 다워 큰 감동 받은적이 있습니다. 프랑스인들이 왜 그렇게 콧대 높은지 프랑스 방방곡곡을 보니 이해가 되었어요.
